In response to complaint ID # [redacted], [redacted] called my store on March 1st wanting to know if we carried tuxes for heavy men and he needed it for March 4th, I told him we carried all sizes and to come in. He came in around 6:00 pm picked out his styles and got measured....

His tuxedo came in the very next day and he came in to try it on, everything fit him well. If there had been a problem we would have taken care of it that day but he was very happy with the fit. As a matter of fact he was very inappropriate making all sort of sexual connotations, the day he came to try everything on the manager was by herself and he asked her if she had ever gotten caught being freaky in the dressing rooms, which made her feel very uncomfortable.Also we do not give discounts to EMT’s that is not our policy and we defiantly do not give discounts to people who rent within the week of the use date, but we still gave him a $45.00 discount regardless.As far as him saying that he let us know that he could not return the tux right away. Our policy is that you must return the day after the use date or you will be charged $20.00 per day every day you are late, it is written in our contract. If we were told that he couldn’t return it we would ask when he would be returning it and charged him for an extended rental. We are a tuxedo rental business under no circumstances can we allow customers to return whenever they get a chance. There is not a tuxedo company out there that would allow that. We called him every day to remind him to return starting on March 6th plus he got e-mails reminding him that he was late. On several occasions he picked up apologized for not returning saying he forgot and promised he would return it by the end of the day. This went on for several days then he just stopped answering his phone or returning our calls. This went on for two weeks before I went to his house but no one was home. I get charged full price for lost tuxedos from the manufacturer so I searched his name on Facebook and Instagram. These are public forums therefore I sent him a message, again he did not respond. It was now 18 days after his initial use date I found out where he worked through Facebook, so yes I went to his job he was not there then I left my card with a message for him to call me. Later that day even though we were still open he dropped his tuxedo outside the store on the curb. We were very fortunate that a customer found it on their way into the store and brought it in. Since I got my tux back I have not reached out to [redacted]. In no way was I harassing him I was just trying to get my product back.
