The policy is displayed, but again, only at the customer service desk rather than on the actual receipt -- where it should be displayed. In regards to online display, I'm not concerned about online since I did not shop online in this instance. I'm very disappointed in Menards, Inc and how they handled me as a client. Additionally, another concern I had at the time was the fact that they had an 11% rebate sale going on. I have been tracking the rebate that was sent in for my large purchase and it's yet to be processed, yet the small rebate that was sent in 3 weeks later is already processing and getting ready to be sent out. Another business practice from this company that has really lost trust from the public.. According to the other complaints I see on the Revdex.com.

Any problems found due to a defect in workmanship will be repaired underwarranty at no charge to the...

This inspection is required, not only to ensure thatthere has been no abuse or neglect to the machine, but also to ensure that the product wasassembled and is operating per the specifications of the manufacturer.If the authorized service center deems the product has a manufacturer· s defect that cannot beeconomically repaired, a re fund, or replacement, will be offered at that time. It appears asthough, to date the machine has not been inspected. Once Mr. [redacted] takes his tiller to theservice center for inspection, we will assist in expediting any necessary repairs.

Menards suggestion my going to the police over this matter is unsatisfactory. If there is a matter of mail tampering or fraud it is up to them to contact the police. I followed their instructions to receive my rebate which they did not send to me.

We bought the tiller to till the soil during planting season for our garden. Planting season is time sensitive, and the only way we can find out if the equipment we bought works or not is to use it (fill it up with gasoline). Unfortunately, this tiller has broken down twice in three uses, and when it was working (engine turning and the tiller rotating), it fails to break the soil down as it should. We have had to buy another tiller in order to finish our planting (taking it to the shop in the spring would have had us waiting for 4 weeks just to get someone to look at it). In the end, this tiller did not work as advertised, and failed to perform as it should. We no longer want this tiller, because 1) it does not work as advertised, and 2) the quality is bad because it has failed us twice in only three uses. We no longer want this tiller, we want a refund and return this equipment.
