Mr*** called Revdex.com and stated that he had not responded to the business' response within days because he is disabledRevdex.com took his rejection of the business' response by phone as follows:Consumer states the business called him on Saturday, hours after he dropped the TV off for repair and stated it was fixedHe questions how a part could be ordered and delivered in hoursHe could not get in to pick it up until TuesdayWhen he got home, there was a blue line on the right sideHe called the business back and they said it was probably the panel, to bring the TV back in and they would order a new partBusiness kept the TV another week but did not call consumer back so he called themThe owner said he had scrapped the TV because the panel was ruined by someone using Windex to clean the TV, which consumer deniesMr*** denies that he was offered $and still requests a refund of $He did not give permission to scrap the TV and does not wish to return to the business to pick up the wall mounts

The television was dropped off at my shop on 8-17-16 (Wednesday). I responded with a cost of repair on 8-17-16 and was given a verbal approval to repair consisting of $65.00 of parts and $100.00 labor. I ordered the part on Wednesday and received the part on Friday. I installed the part on Saturday 8-20-16 and called Mr. [redacted] and said he could pick it up. The total of the invoice was 176.55 which included the state sales tax of 11.55. Once again, the unit was operational when it left my shop. After Mr. [redacted] called and said it had a problem on the right hand side of the display, I said it was possible it could be the part replaced or the panel itself(which is not an available part). I had the tv for about a week because by the time Mr. [redacted] got it back to me and I ordered the part, the supplier took longer to send the second part. After replacing the part with a second one, I determined the problem was definitely the panel. upon contacting Mr. [redacted], he responded with I guess I have a worthless television. I suggested he could watch it as it is or I recycled if he was just going to throw it away. he verbally told me to get rid of it. I am a small shop with little storage room so I proceeded to recycle the unit. When Mr. [redacted] called back a couple days later, he demanded a full refund of the repair. I responded with, I will offer a $60.00 refund of the labor since I had a lot of time and material expense with getting not only one, but two parts to confirm where the second failure was . He said not to worry about it but he would be in for his wall mounts. As I previously stated the wall mounts are still here and available as well as the $60.00 refund. I feel I have done all I can to appease Mr. [redacted], and am sorry he is not satisfied, but the second failure of the panel was not present when he originally picked up his tv.David [redacted] dba: T V Supply C0.

To whom it may concern,My name is Dave [redacted]. I am the owner of T V Supply Co at 136 Columbus rd in Athens, Ohio 45701. I take exception to Mr. [redacted]'s stated complaint. First of all, the television when it came into my shop was totally without video. I, with the approval of Mr. [redacted], ordered the...

replacement part to restore video. Upon replacing the part, I test played the unit and it was fine. After the t v was paid for and taken home I received a call from Mr. [redacted] that there was a section on the far right side of the screen that was slightly different in brightness intensity. I requested the unit be returned for further evaluation at no additional charge. Upon seeing the problem, I called Mr. [redacted] and explained that either the part that was replaced was at fault or most likely the panel itself was the failing component. I re-ordered a new replacement part and upon installing it, found the panel to be the problem. I then called Mr. [redacted] and explained to him that he had a bad panel, of which no replacement at any cost was available. He then said I guess I just have a broken television that cannot be used. I suggested he could watch it as it was until he no longer could find it watchable rather than throw it away. He responded that it was of no use to him like it was. I said I re-cycle all flat screens to the basic components of steel, circuit boards, etc. He said to go ahead and re-cycle it. A couple days later Mr. [redacted] called me and suggested I should refund his money since he did not have a working television. I explained that it was operational when it first left my shop and I had an investment in time and parts and could not refund the entire amount. I offered to refund  $60.00 of the $100.00 in labor charged. He then said I will be in to pick up my wall mount that was on the television and we would talk. I have not heard a word from Mr. [redacted] since that conversation, and until this mailing I still have his wall mounts waiting. I feel I did all I could do to accommodate Mr. [redacted] and still not take a total loss financially, attempting to be fair to both the customer and myself. I can be reached at ###-###-#### from 8:00 to 5:00 Tuesday to Friday or by mail. You can also respond to my e-mail address. Thank you for your time, and I hope Mr. [redacted] can move on and not hold a grudge over something that I went above and beyond to attempt to avoid.David [redacted] dba: T V Supply Co
