Hello, It is our policy that customers that do not accept technical support need to pay a 20% restocking fee Under these circumstances we are happy to refund the 20% restocking fee of $ The customer is responsible for the shipping fees to return the product We would have gladly replaced the antenna with a working model or replaced the parts needed to make if operational It may have also been an installation issue and easily fixed with some tech support Best, Marc M

The issue is advertising and refusal to issue a prepaid return shipping labelThe antenna is advertised to have the ability to bring in signals up to miles distantAfter following the enclosed directions and doing a search using the TV search function, I was able to receive only stations --- RESPONSE: Here are our statements that are on the website regarding the tv antenna range: "Mile Rated, terrain dependentWe recommended for City and Suburbs." "The HD is recommended for people that live within the city or suburbs within - miles of the broadcast towers" "Recommended for City and Suburbs Rated at mile Range, Recommended 5-mile Range" - So, I checked the tv reception for your address and there are 60-tv channels available ranging from to miles away Our company notes show that you called in twice, both times you were very combative, swore at our employees and refused tech support Looking at the reception at your address, If you had spent just minutes with our tech support they would have diagnosed your troubles and helped you receive up to channels with the HD-8008, at your address I wish you would have accepted our help --- This antenna cost $and is omni directionalIt does not need to be pointing in any specific directionI was not satisfied with that result so I installed a competitors antenna at half the cost and was able to receive stationsThis proves the distance claims were advertisingAfter calling TVANTENNA.COM AND ASKING FOR A PREPAID SHIPPING LABEL they refused to send one to meThey also advertise free shipping but they refused to send the prepaid labelAnother example of advertisingThis also shows that the product is grossly over priced --- RESPONSE: We do offer Free Shipping on Every Order We do not pay for postage for customer returns, as stated in our return policy If the antenna is broken we will make you whole, If the installation is incorrect, we will diagnose and correct the installation We truly like to work with the customer to help them properly install the antenna and receive all the available tv channels in their market I wish you had accepted our help Usually within 15-minutes we have 75% of tech calls resolved --- Here are a copy of the notes we have in our CRM from when [redacted] Fox called into our company: 4/18/- demanded shipping label, because our "piece of ***" "doesn't work"i told him we could either help him get it working better or explain how to return itHe called me a piece of ***, swore at me a bunchi told him that offended me so I asked him to call back when he wasn't so combative- JM4/18/16- called back to be a jerk to me alsoWas upset about no return labelGave him a return authorizationOffer him help to get it working, he did not want any help! - HF --- Resolution: Provide me with a prepaid shipping label and credit my credit card with a full refund after receiving the returned product --- RESPONSE: I am sorry but we do not pay for return postage If the antenna is damaged or defective we will send a new antennas or the parts needed to make you whole Here is a copy of our return policy: http://www.tvantennasale.com/returns.asp We Can be reached 8am-5pm PT Mon-Fri at 1-800-542- ---

The Customer Credit Card was Expired and the Refund was unable to be processed electronically
We have mailed out a check forthe $69.95. We have communicated with the customer and let them know the check was being sent

I am sorry about all the hassles.  I just read over the account notes and it seems this has been a huge foul on Fedex part, sometimes packages get lost.  I will send out a check for the refund of the antenna today.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The response offers no solution. The antenna has long been returned to the supplier at my expense. It was returned by mid MAY. This is being written on June 10, 2016.  The supplier is now stalling to credit my account with a refund. Sincerely,[redacted]

We are truly sorry for the delay on this refund.  Typically refunds are processed with 1-3 weeks of delivery.  It looks like the accounting dept was never alerted of this credit memo.  We were able to verify your return and have issued you a full refund for $69.95.  Sincerely,...

This antenna cost $79.95. and is omni directional. It does not need to be pointing in any specific direction. I was not satisfied with that result so I installed a competitors antenna at half the cost and was able to receive 26 stations. This proves the distance claims were false advertising. After calling TVANTENNA.COM AND ASKING FOR A PREPAID SHIPPING LABEL they refused to send one to me. They also advertise free shipping but they refused to send the prepaid label. Another example of false advertising. This also shows that the product is grossly over priced.
