TVP Realty, Inc. Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have continued to contact Mr P[redacted] several...

times. He has not responded to me at all. But responds here. Please help me understand who a person rents a place with known underlying issues. In which I've spoken to a a previous tenant to [redacted]. Same issues. Of course the property looks nice on the outside. But once you move in and use things everything falls apart. There is no way a prospective tenant can open up a wall to search for water leaks. No way a prospective tenant can know that in advance. Which landlords to not give consent for a tenant to open up walls to check for such things. Which Mr. P[redacted] knew the plumbing in that place had issues from a previous tenant and it was patched to remedie temporarily. Until it completely broke off into the wall and poured out a light switch. Bath tub looked nice but sank in to the floor each time it was used. In which I re calked it myself three times to continuously find mold growing be hind the chalk each time. Due to the joints being rotten and molding inside the walls. Garage was totally understand usable. Which was never repaired the whole time I lived there In spite of asking for material to do the repair myself. As you can tell from the many pictures and video on the day I turned in the keys. Let's not forget the animals under the porch which I Champlain about. That knocked my cable out twice. How about the gap in the front door. The soot coming off the cabinets and out of the ac. These are all things a person would not know until the unit was lived in and things used. How many times did I make repair request about the garage. The tub. The animals. The ac soot and mold smell. I never once said the Windows were not new. And never once did I say the carpet was not shampooed. What about the rust in the stove that I reported. Nothing done at all. Seems to me Mr P[redacted] is definitely deflecting from the real issues. The major water leak that had been leaking in the walls for some time before I moved in. And got worse and took a week to even approve and start the repair. So it leaked into the wall and out a light switch for a week.  Problems less then 48 hours of moving in. Let's not forget about the ac and heat module falling off the wall and was screwed into the wall to stay up. Instead of replaced.  How about the stopped up sinks the first few days.  And the list goes on. So tell me. Who wants to live in a place with problem after problem.  I have a 4 year old autistic grandson with a heart mermor. Sleep apneaband sensory issues to protect. And you knew this. It was on my application. And who in there right mind would put a already disabled child at risk for more health issues. Breathing in soot and mold. At risk of the tub falling into the floor while being bathed. And being told by maitance to only use a inch of water to bath a child. I'm sure Mr. P[redacted] does not have his children and family living in such conditions. And I refuse. And I'm only asking for my security deposit returned. I left the unit in cleaner condition it was given to me. And didn't complain about the place not being cleaned properly. I just cleaned it myself to my liking. And did the same when I moved out. So if I need to file a civil suit I will be asking for 625.00 × 2  And court costs. Instead of the 625.00 security deposit. I have many more photos. And copies of all emails and repair request. That I have prepared for a court civil suit.
Regards,
[redacted]

Tell us why here...The place has new windows, any maintenance needed was inspected and completed prior to move in, its been painted and the carpets were shampooed.  You walked thru the apartment before receiving the keys and signed off on the move in condition report.  Everything checked out ok.  You  submitted work orders after you moved in and we responded to complete any repairs after move in that were needed.  How are we slum lords?  Yes, we are a for profit company and we take pride that people have a clean and nice place to live.   You move out unexpectedly and think you are not responsible for the lease?
