TVT General Construction

Review: [redacted], of TVT General Construction and Landscaping, has been providing landscaping services for my home for a number of years. The most-recent agreed-upon price for this service was $65 every 4 weeks, for landscape service once every 2 weeks ($32.50 per landscape service).The usual method of payment was a check that I wrote for $65.00 every four-weeks. This check was usually delivered to Mr. [redacted] on the day of the second service for each 4-week period. However, on occasion, I would pay Mr. [redacted] on the day of the first service for a 4 week period, which would provide payment, in advance, for the second service for the same 4 week period.The last $65.00 check I gave Mr. [redacted] was on August 13, 2015, in advance, for service on August 13, 2015 and August 27, 2015. Mr. [redacted] provided landscaping service on August 13 and soon after cashed the check. August 13 was the last day that Mr. [redacted] serviced my landscaping - he never came back to my home after that date. I later found out that Mr. [redacted] had no intention of ever returning when I phoned him on September 11. His excuse for not communicating this earlier was that he lost my e-mail address, which is difficult to believe, since I sent him two recent e-mails, which he did not respond to (i.e., to contact me, all he needed to do was reply to either of these e-mails). During this phone call on September 11, Mr. [redacted] told me that he would send me a check for $32.50 for the planned August 27th service which he did not provide. Mr. [redacted] also indicated that I should have the check in the mail sometime this week (September 14-18). As of September 18, I have not yet received the check. So, I phoned Mr. [redacted] September 18 who told me that he was "busy" and didn't have time to write and send the check, but will do so the next day (September 19). It takes one day to post a letter from Stockton to Tracy. Today is Tuesday September 22, and the check has still not arrived. It is clear to me that Mr. [redacted] has no current intention of honoring his promise.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. [redacted] to honor his promise to send me a check, payable to me, [redacted], for $32.50 for services that he was paid for in-advance (copy of cashed-check attached), but did not provide. I would like him to send this check to my home address, which is: [redacted]. Note: It would probably be best for the Revdex.com to contact Mr. [redacted] by both email and postal mail, to decrease the chance that he would ignore this complaint. Thank you.
