Review: No proof of warranty (10 years) for home siding job after the job was completed for 3 months. The contractor agreed to provide the proof of warranty card/paper work for the siding material and labor workmanship for 10 years after the job is completed. Since then, I've been contacted him a few time with phone call and text message for requesting the proof of warranty and there is no reply of my request or returning my phone call. Very unresponsive, Under the contract stated that warranty is included for this job. Please help. The owner is Bob potter, he is the one that wrote the contract. The communication of this contractor/ owner was the worse ever. Very hard to get a hold of him once he ([redacted]) took your deposit and their worker just start the job and when there is a issue that need to be address he is no where near to be communicate. Please be aware of this contractor.Desired Settlement: Proof of warranty according to the contract agreement or I will take it to a small claim court and let my lawyer deal with it.

My name is [redacted] and I am the owner of T.W Stewart roofing. I received a letter from you about a job that I have recently completed. The complaint ID # is [redacted]. In this letter [redacted] who I believe is the son of my customer stated that I have not provided him the warranties at the end of the job. This however is not the truth. I gave **. [redacted] a final bill which had my written and signed ten year warrantee for the workmanship on his job. This guarantee was also in the written and signed proposal that was given to his mother as well. As far as the warrantee for the siding, that should have been sent to him from the manufacture, this was also stated in the original proposal. I will contact CertainTeed and see if they can send it out to them again or if for so some reason they haven't already, and I will send them another copy of my guarantee. I want nothing more than to settle this issue. My company has been in business for over fifty years and we have very few complaints which I'm sure the Revdex.com can vouch for. Thank you for your help in handling this issue and if there is anything else I need to do please let me know.

Contractor was issued $13,000 payment same date which contractor deposited. Anticipated start date 6/10/13. Project never started; initially contractor claimed various reasons for delays, but then ceased all contact. Several demands to [redacted]/Stewart for refund of money. Contractor provided no windows or installation servicesTo date, and from 9/2013, contractor has refused to reply to any and all efforts (email, telephone, certified letters) of contact and continues to illegally retain the $13,000 up front payment.Contractor's state registration expired 7/29/13.Desired Settlement: Return of $13,000 payment, plus costs and interest.
