I would highly advise folks to stay away from East Side Ventilation (ESV) for any furnace or air conditioning replacements/repairs. ESV was called to make an appointment to come out to our house and assess our AC unit which had stopped working properly. At the time of the appointment, there was no discussion about service fees/charges. Upon arrival to inspect our AC unit, the service person spent approximately 15 minutes assessing the unit where he then determined there was a leak that he could not find so we would have to replace the whole AC unit. He promptly dropped an invoice on the table for over $100 with little to no other discussion stating he had "another job to get to". Dissatisfied with his assessment, a different company was called to assess our AC unit. This service person found the issue within 30 minutes stating that the issue had occurred because the furnace installation was poorly completed (a blocked duct) which ironically was completed by ESV a few years previous!! The coil was cleaned and within the hour this gentlemen had the AC unit up and running with no further issues. Now ESV is harassing us to pay the $100 bill which we have a hard time swallowing based on the fact that ESV gave approximately 15 minutes of their time and tried to have us agree to buy a new system. Avoid East Side Ventilation at ALL costs or it will really COST you!!
