No adjustments will be made to the account. As stated previously, payment was not received in our office until July 5th. We immediately began attempting to contact the resident and guarantor and received NO RESPONSE until July 18th

We have documentation, including photos and copies of invoices, to backup the charges on this account. We take into consideration length of residency and wear and tear any time a resident vacates their apartment. This apartment was damaged beyond what is considered wear and
tear. No adjustments will be made to the final invoice

The payment was received in our office on July 5, 2016. Our accountant, Candace, began contacting Ms*** daily regarding the late fees that were accruing. We received no reply to our phone calls or emails until July 18th. On July 18th, we received a voicemail from Ms
*** advising our office to contact her bank. Candace contacted the bank and had a conversation with the representative. She explained that we did not receive this payment until July 5th and, therefore, it was late. Late fees are due in full and will not be waived

Management would be happy to review any final statement charges and reply with any ba(photos, invoices, etc). Please email ***@***.com with your concerns. Thank you

The flooring charges for this apartment are justified and will not be adjusted or waived.  The flooring has been badly damaged during these tenants' occupancy.  I personally inspected the apartment in August of 2015 prior to the new tenants moving in and found none of these damages to be...

present.  Tenants were offered a payment plan and a postponed payment due date but chose to wait until after the payments were due to discuss their objections to the charges.

I am rejecting this response because: I show from my bank that the payment was sent for receipt by July 1st. And their response "We received no reply to our phone calls or emails until July 18th." is a flat-out lie.

There's no point in continuing to go back and forth.  We have records of all emails sent where there was no response.  Regardless, it is the tenant's responsibility to ensure payment reaches our office on time.  The lease outlines the late rent policy and, as a courtesy, we make efforts to contact the tenant when they are late to remind them that late fees are accruing.
