Twice is Nice Thrift Store

Review: On March 3rd me and my boyfriend went into a place called Twice is Nice thrift store at that time we purchased a carpet shampooer for $30.00 also a pioneer laser disc for $15.00 and a karaoke machine for $25.00 which total $70.00 plus sales tax. We got the merchandise home and didn’t none of the item’s work. So we took everything back to the thrift and the owner would not refund our money or even give us an exchange. He was extremely rude, and he asked us to part from his store, that’s not right!!! All I want is my money back! Why should I keep something that doesn’t work and you keep my money, not fair! I even asked him to plug everything up to see for himself, he would not do it, he is selling defective merchandise. He is located at [redacted] Twice is Nice thrift store. Also there’s another store off Auburn Blvd called [redacted]. I spoke to the owner, by the name of [redacted], she’s been in business 33 years. And she told me, that the owner of twice is nice is a crook, she stated that they tried to use her name of her company, but couldn’t. So they used twice is nice, she also stated everything they have in their store is garbage. What they do is go around to different places and get stuff, then take it back to their store and boost the price up. For instance, he will pay $5 for something and turn around and sell it for $10 or $15 dollars “not working” also I don’t think he pays sales tax really.Desired Settlement: So I would really like to have my money returned in full. He can have all of his non working items back.
