As per the attached picture, there already is an integral strut built into this top section, negating the need for further strutting Also, you can see where our installer attached the operator arm directly onto the bracket provided by the door manufacturerAll we did was to put a pin in the bracket to attach the arm Also, the arm is bent at appxdegrees, exactly as it should beThere is nothing about this operator placement that could have caused this top section damageAgain, I will say that we have seen this many times when doors have been activated while frozen to the floor or slide lock is engaged Whatever happened here, we have done nothing wrong and will not be buying any new sections
