Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I totally understand that all orthodontic procedures, regardless of the manner in which the teeth are moved, will cause some pain and discomfort to the patient and the appliance is not designed to fit perfectlyBut one tooth is completely out of the applianceThat is where the pain comes fromIf one tooth is completely out of the device, I don't understand what kinds of mechanics can make it move to its proper positionThanks for you response anyway Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Tell us why hereWe are very sorry that you are unhappy with your daughters treatment, just as a point of clarification, this orthodontic treatment is not Invisalign and we never promote it as suchthis treatment is called healthy start and is completed using appliances manufactured by [redacted] We understand that every child is different and every child will have unique challenges complying with treatment.All orthodontic procedures, regardless of the manner in which the teeth are moved, will cause some pain and discomfort to the patientWe are sorry that your daughter has had discomfort, but that is the only way in which the teeth will move.the appliance is not designed to fit perfectlythis is part of the mechanics that move the teethWe make every effort to adjust and fit the appliances so that they are as comfortable a possible, but there will always be some pain involved that the patient has to endure this is the case with all orthodonticsAs the treatment progresses, the pain will decrease once the teeth have began to move into their proper position because this is a comprehensive orthodontic treatment, we do bill the patient and the insurance company just as we would for any orthodonticsWe have successfully treated many patients with these [redacted] appliances including our own childrenWe are happy to continue to work with you and your daughter to help her achieve a happy and healthy smileThank you, Dr [redacted] D.D.S
The appliance is designed to help the jaw develop and grow larger in order to accommodate the teeth that are currently out of positionWe are happy to adjust the appliance to make it as comfortable as possible while this growth happensBut we do rely on patient compliance in wearing the appliance in order for it to be effectivePlease make an appointment ASAP to allow us to helpWe can also offer a different expansion appliance as an alternative. But one tooth is completely out of the appliance. That is where the pain comes from. If one tooth is completely out of the device, I don't understand what kinds of mechanics can make it move to its proper position. Thanks for you response anyway.
