After the initial work was completed, I went to the customers property on three separate occasions and reapplied polymeric sand to the patioThe customer asked about applying a silica sandI explained in my experience it was an inconsistent direction to go as the different sands should not be
mixedTypically, one or the other should be usedThe customer requested the use of polymeric sand when we initially met to discuss the parameters of the job to be performedDuring my third visit to the customer, we discussed the possible need for me to return in the spring to reapply polymeric sand before the patio had a sealer applicationThe sealer application was not part of the scope of the job to be performedIn the spring, the customer contacted me and stated that he had weeds and seams between paves that were openI called him back the same day to schedule a time that was convenient for him to meet me, so we could review it together in personI wanted to be absolutely certain that I addressed all of his concernsI followon several other occasions; however, I never heard back from himRegrettably in the Spring, I was so busy that I did not follfurtherThis was strictly a warranty situation that I was fully responsible for and was committed to honoringThis is and always has been my policy for customer satisfactionThis is a misunderstanding which I never had the opportunity to address, I appreciate the situation my customer is in with the added expenditure and am willing to provide compensation; however, I do not feel that I am responsible for the entire disputed amountA large portion of the disputed amount was for the application of sealant which was never part of the job to be performedI am willing to discuss any reasonable amount to rectify this situationI hope that this process can lead to a resolution of this regrettable situation
