Twins Auto Sales Reviews (%countItem)

I bought a 2001 Ford explorer on Aug 3, 2017, I had a auto accident and needed a vehicle. You make your payment at the dealer. On July 12, 2017 I had a accident at work which I had to be off work. So I call them and told them what happen and that I could make a partial payment each month. They said that was fine worry about getting better. I believe it was the last part of November that my vehicle was repo by Twins Auto. First part of December I got a call from *** stating I could have the vehicle back and that they would work with me on the payments, they heard about my accident and wanted to help me. she ask me how much could I put down I said I had only 50.00 and make 75.00 payments until I receive any money from the accident. I said I would be in to pick it up. When I went in to pick it up I handed the owner 50.00 he gave me a receipt. I said where is my vehicle it is not here, he said oh yes it is but he couldn't find the keys, he said come back Friday with more money. I said I couldn't and that was not the deal. I didn't have anymore money. So I left and the following Monday *** call and ask why I didn't pick up the vehicle. I said he wouldn't give me the keys he need more money. I went there to pick up vehicle if it was there why didn't he give me the keys. I said you broke a oral agreement I want my money back. She said he said I wasn't getting my money back. I am off work with my wrist and no money coming in, I surly wouldn't give him 50 to keep if I thought I wasn't going to get my car back. They want to know if I want the vehicle back. I said no, I am not playing these games where I give him money and not receive my vehicle. There were on a couple occasions where I didn't get credit for payment, he wanted cash only. He is definitely a crook and will scam you.

Twins Auto Sales has truly been understanding with our customer from the very beginning. We've changed the agreement multiple times to a lower monthly payment and did not charge one late fee; although, the agreement was broken multiple times and payments were no longer made. Last payment was received on 8/13/18 and repossessed on 10/31/18. After the repossession, the owner of Twins still wanted to help her out since the customer stated that she had no way of getting to appointments. A verbal agreement was made to bring any amount and pick up the vehicle on Wednesday. The customer brought $50 on Wednesday and requested the keys to the vehicle, but stated she would pick the vehicle up on Friday. The owner stated that he would give her the keys on Friday upon arrival. The customer agreed and never came on Friday. We did call her and questioned why she never came; the customer stated she doesn't want the vehicle and that she made other arrangements. We tried to accommodate to her circumstances and we feel like we have done everything we could and beyond.Thank you for your time!Twins Auto Sales

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

*** ( I have 8 more files to mail you separate)First of all I have never broke any agreement. I went in and request ONE time to lower the payments. I was given a receipt twice, I always ask for a receipt and the answer was "when we initial your payment that is your receipt" you don't trust us. The answer NO, You didn't credit me for two amounts October 2017, and December 2017. You lie when you said you wouldn't charge me for the part. You didn't put it on till after your trip back home overseas. I call and informed you that I couldn't drive because of seizures and I show you the doctors note. When I talk to you about bring in $50.00 which is all I had at the time you said I would get the vehicle back that day. When I went in the owner was there he took my money and said you bring more money in Friday and I will give you the keys. he acted like he was looking for them and then he said they are not here. I went outside and my vehicle was not there. Why would I bring in money and just leave it there if it was there. I could have brought food for my family, and why would I come all the way out there to leave it there, beside I just put over 400.00 of brand new tires on it, my intentions was to keep it. Not give it back to you after spending all that money. I am not crazy. The owner has a big angry problem which he has display on several occasions and always saying I need more money. Get a second job don't con people and not give them credit for there payments. That is against the law. I have a witness that heard him say, he wasn't going to give me my keys until I brought more money. Do you think after the way he has treated me in the past that I wouldn't cover myself. I didn't studied Criminal law for nothing. You add a 250.00 charge for a part that you said you would cover and you lie to me. One thing you don't do is lie to me, you can take from me but don't lie. I was raise with morals and respect and that is something you need to work on. Enclose is copies of two different contracts and different dates of payment that you send to me on my request. the amounts are different but the only receipt of payment is your initials and pay cash. This was a costly expense for me and it will not happen again, regardless of my situation. Oh, don't make it sound like you were doing me any favors, you fiancé with no interest to everyone. I appreciate what *** did for me, I am grateful, she is the only one who had respect and didn't carrying on like something crazy. But for the owner, beware he will tell you one thing and turn around say something completely off the wall.

Regards,***Dear Revdex.comThank you for assistance in this matter. But I do have to clarify one thing, the Commonwealth of Virginia did not dismiss this matter on the say of Twins Auto. It was dismiss because my paperwork my evidence did not reach them the Commonwealth of Virginia in the timely matter. I just hope no one else goes thru what I did dealing with these people, which was a nightmare. Thank youRegards
