Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/09/08) */ Contact Name and Title: George [redacted] , GM Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @gmail.com Mr [redacted] checked in - in our hotel on Aug 28th at 10:PMThere were no request to change room due to any issue on the night of Aug 28th [redacted] ( [redacted] ) called us around 10:Am on Aug 29th and informed us that they guest had a bad experience in RM [redacted] The guest found a dirty towel on the floorThey are not happy and they want their money backThe front office associate said "this would not be a problem" When I heard that [redacted] called and complained regarding room [redacted] I went to the room to check the issue around 10:AM on Aug 29thAt that time I learned from Ms [redacted] that they found a bedbugI asked to inspect the room, and I was told by ms [redacted] "NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT" that they were leaving and she handed me the room keysThe child was in the room and Ms [redacted] did not show me any bites to meAlso our front office was not notified of being bitten by bedbugs After they left, the guest called me and asked what can I do for their inconvenienceI told Ms [redacted] that there will be no charge for the night's stayShe replied [redacted] already gave her FULL refund and what else can I do? The refund was not enough for herI asked her what she wants me to do? And she demanded that all her medical bills needs to be paidWithout any evidence I did not make any commitment to her and advised her to take care of her daughter's health As soon as I heard from her of bedbugs, I called [redacted] pest controlOn Sept 1st, I had [redacted] pest control came and did random inspections of rooms in all buildings including RM [redacted] and no bedbug activity were found On Sept 3rd, the health department inspected RM [redacted] and again no bed bug activity were foundThe health inspector told me that, the bites could have come from "Anywhere" and the bite reaction could have been delayed days I am willing to send you both inspection reports if you would please provide me your fax numberThank you Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/09/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept this reply from themI personally have pictures of the mattress my daughter slept on in the hotel room [redacted] of one of the actual bed bugsAS for him stating that he was told not to worry about inspecting the room that was not what was toldwhomever it was that knocked on the door it was a man and he asked if this was the room the bed bugs were found I said yes that this was the room and he replied back with ok go ahead and take your time I will be back to inspect the room and upon him saying this my grandma said that was fine we would be leaving very soon and she asked if we needed to give the keys to him or the front office and he replied with I can take them so she gave him the key and then we left minute after thathe did not say who he was the man at the door so no I did not show him the bites on my daughter because for that simple fact I did not know who he was but I do also have multiple pictures of my daughters arms and back and face along with pictures of the towel and lotions in the floor of the hotel room along with a picture of one of the bed bugs on her mattress in room [redacted] I can also get medical documentation from the urgent care there in Branson from where my daughter was seen by one of there Drsand the DR stated that clearly there were more bugs that had bitten her from this hotel it was not the work of just one and I showed him the picture as wellThe lady from the [redacted] told me where the urgent care was so I could take my child there to be seen by a drI did call him and tell him about what had happened to my daughter from his hotel and I did state to him that he needed to pay her DRbills for the simple fact that it was because of his hotel that my daughter was sick because of all of this and that no I did not think him refunding the money for the nights stay was enough because it isn't my child had to deal with all of this and she is only years old and has asthma on top of that and is severely allergic to bites or stings and from all the bites on her now that they are finally healing they are scarring her arms from themas for there being no request to switch rooms on the night of the 28th that is because we did not arrive until 11pm that night and went straight to bed and upon waking my daughter had been ate alive by these bugs and we had to get our package from the BTC that morning at so we went straight there and talked to them about everything and let them know that we would not be staying another night at his hotel that we wanted them switched ant that is when the [redacted] contacted his hotel about the matterAlso I can get more medical documentation from the urgent care here in Jonesboro Arkansas where I had to take my daughter again because she was not getting better and she got sent home from school early Monday morningIf you would like any of this documentation or pictures I personally have from his hotel I would be more than glad to fax or send them to youI still will be requesting that he pay for her medical bills and there for should be paying for damage that it has caused her armsAlso as for his statement that he was saying Ms [redacted] informed me TO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT that we were leaving at that time he did not even know my name because the room was not booked in my name or anywhere on the papers it was in my grandmas husbands name the name of [redacted] So that statement he is claiming that was said is a lie all togetherIf you would like me to send you any of the documentation or pictures I have I would be glad toThank you Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 11, 2015/09/22) */ Revdex.com Comment - Attached are documents from Lodging Establishment Inspection Report by the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services

At that time I learned from Ms. [redacted] that they found a bedbug. I asked to inspect the room, and I was told by ms. [redacted] "NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT" that they were leaving and she handed me the room keys. The child was in the room and Ms. [redacted] did not show me any bites to me.
