As per our conversation on 5/24/*** *** purchased his vehicle on 6/30/15.When he purchased vehicle he signed a WE OWE stating we owed himAudi CareTiresFull DetailTST applicationWe had Audi Care done on 7/1/15, and he returned on 7/13/to have TST application and car detailed.It was my
understanding he was to see Jason G*** our Sales Manager at that time to pick up tires.I have included a copy of WE OWE and it clearly states that all must be done within Days, in which *** *** signed. *** *** has stated he did not need tires until now, and he states the tire where owed to him because the car was delivered with milesOn 5-11-the Ahad miles, so at the tires had .0141% or 1/of 1% of the tires where used before delivery*** *** was also here on 9-13-with miles on the Aand he was recommended rear tires at that visitHe declined, if we truly owed him tires why did he not bring that up in Septof We also do not store tires for customers let alone for years.It is also hard for me to believe that this car has driven 45,miles on one set of tires. The usual miles on a set of tires for a Ais 20,to miles. Dear ***, I am writing in response to the email I received this past Friday June 1st, which I pasted below. I had not realized that Audi had responded to my e-mail, so I have just now read it and am even further frustrated at their twisted logic that this problem could somehow be my fault. In their response, Ms K*** stated that it was her understanding that I was to see a Jason G*** to pick up the tires, well that never happened…and you can see from my attached copy of the original “we owe” document there are no notes about seeing a Jason G***…they added those notes after I signed the agreement. Had I seen those notes, I likely would have contacted him about this misunderstanding. As I previously stated I would have never agreed to an arrangement where I would “pick up” tires as I have nowhere to store them….if they don’t have a location to store tires at their thousands of square foot facility, I don’t know how they would expect their customers to do so. Again, this was an agreement between me and their sales manager as part of the negotiation of the sale of the car…so I am not sure why Ms K*** is rambling off the percentage of use of my tires as that is completely irrelevant. As Ms K*** states, they did recommend back tires replaced at one of my service visits, but they make a lot of recommendations about needing new things as a way to boost their service sales, and I did not feel they needed replaced at that time. I did mention to the service rep about them owing me new tires, but he said he didn’t know anything about it. Since I wasn’t pursuing the tires at that time I didn’t feel a need to say anything further, and even if I did, it only means we would have had this conflict a few months ago instead of now. Lastly, I don’t really know what to say about her not believing my tires could have lasted 45,miles…again it is irrelevant to the fact they owe my four tires as part of my sales agreement and never gave me those tires.…apparently Goodyear isn’t surprised they lasted this long as they usually have a warranty on their tires between 45,and 50,miles.
