To who it may concern, I am writing in response to a complaint against Two Addison Place in Pooler GA. It was stated that a final account statement was not receivedIt is our standard policy to mail via USPSWe never received the letter back from the postal carry so we had to assume that the
letter was deliveredWe do not track these letters as this would be extra cost placed on to the residentAt move in the resident paid for a Sure BondThis is a program that allows a more affordable upfront move in cost as it replaces the security depositIf money is owed at move out and not collected within the allotted time frame the account is then sent to Sure Deposit for collectionsSure Deposit then pays the property and then they collect the debt from the residentAt this time, the debt with Two Addison Place is satisfied and all debt would be with the third party Sure Deposit. The resident sets this bond up and pays for the Sure Deposit before move in and agrees to the terms set forth by Sure Deposit, not Two Addison Place. To the claim that the resident was over charged, this is true and has been correctedThe resident was charged the new standard rate for not removing the Satellite dish from her homeThis was an oversight on our part and we were more than happy to correct this as soon as it was brought to our attentionIt was stated that she was told it was okay for the satellite dish to be left by an office associate however, it states in the lease agreement it is the residents responsibility to remove the dish and if it is not removed a charge will be assessed at move outThis is why she was charged for this serviceAs soon as this oversight of charges was brought to our attention we immediately adjusted the charges and also contacted Sure Deposit to notify them of the situationAt this time Sure Deposit stated that they had pulled the account out of collections. For the desired settlement we have asked Sure Deposit to pull the account from collectionsThey complied and email confirmation was sent that the account was taken out of the collection statusThe final account statement was updated and sent to the resident via email with the new totalAt this point, the account has been settled with Two Addison PlaceAny and all other debt would need to be worked out with Sure Deposit moving forward. furniture. I recommended to them, as they were not sure on a time to have the inspection completed, that when they dropped keys off at the office we could perform the walk through then. They were not denied a walk through as this is our business and we prefer to do walk through with residents so issues like this do not come up.  I placed their notice into the system as an employment change – I reviewed the activity tab on their summary page. Somehow the notice was changed from employment change to military transfer a few days prior to them moving out.Their phone calls and emails have not been ignored as I have it is all documented in their file as to the conversations that have taken place since they moved out. They are currently not in collections nor is the amount they owe the $868.68. The only owe $646.67. We are happy to speak with them in regards to their account. They may contact us or if they prefer we will contact them.
