To Revdex.com when we sell merchandise they come boxed from the manufacturer when a customer picks up merchandise his full responsible by the sales receipt if we sell in merchandise assembled, he will think we sold him a floor model, that's why we have delivery and assembling
service but this is an extra cost of $or if you want it assembled only there is a charge of $these are the rules of the storeAny store through out the country sell furniture and the customer picks up it will come in the boxes, we don't receive or exchange any merchandise back from the customers if it's out of the package thank you

I'm in receipt of your letter dated 12/8/2014 concerning my complaint against Two Brothers Furniture. First of all why are we talking about any store around the country having merchandise that comes in boxes? That was not the issue initially.
When I came to the store and looked at the TV stand the salesman ([redacted]) did not tel! me that it came in a box and had to be put together. Had I known that I would have never bought the stand. I did not find out that the item came in a box until I came to pick it up. It was at this point that the discussion started (1 did not want the item at that point). I made it clear that I did not want the item. [redacted] (the salesman) then told me that the item was easy to put together. I took it home and found out that this was not the case and the glass shelves are heavy. I cannot physically lift them.I took the item back to the store and asked that it be exchanged. I was then told that box merchandise cannot be exchanged. This information is not written on the receipt. Now I returned the merchandise in the box. There was another issue as well and that is that one of the pieces were rusted. The stand is now at the store and the deal is that they will put it together and deliver it for 50.00 which is unacceptable. This would have never been an issue if I had been told initially that the item had to be put together.I have enclosed a copy of the receipt. Nowhere on the receipt does it state that box items cannot be exchanged. At this point I don't want to exchange the merchandise or be given a credit. I want my money back. By the way anytime I went to the store (or someone went for me) to talk to Max he was never available. Funny how he is available to send you that badly written response.
Sincerely,
[redacted]Enclosure

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The original table was purchased on 11/22/2014. This table was damaged with the large air pockets clearly visible on the table top. Therefore, the co-owner Max agreed to finally replace the first table on 04/14/2015 according to voicemail nessage left on my cell phone by Ron the staff mbr. However, once the second table was delivered there were several damages on this table. Please see the uploaded pictures. The table has broken locks, cigarette burns, and scrapes or indentions on the table top. After, the second table was delivered I signed no contract and called the store several times to resolve damaged table issues. However, the stored closed down in late May and I was unable to locate store. Until, Ron called my daughter regarding a law-away balance on 01/11/2016. I arrived at the store on 01/26/16 Ron agreed to replace table and allowed me to select a tysble of greater value and I was to pay the difference. Max asked that I return on 01/27/16 to complete the transaction and on 01/27/16 Max kicked me out the store. I have a video of the event. Please have someone from the Revdex.com to contact ne regarding voicemail and video proof.

The merchant is purposefully defrauding the customer by consistently changing the reason why they will not replace the second damaged table.  First, the merchant stated in the initial dispute that I took too long to dispute the first damaged table. Thereby, I clarified the delay in replacing the initial table was solely the merchant attempting to not resolve the issue. Furthermore, to support that claim of the merchant's delay for replacing the first damaged table is a voice mail message left by the merchant on my cell phone as of 04/14/15 at 10:47 a.m Finally, agreeing to replace first damaged table  that was purchased on 11/22/14.. The merchant's second counterstatement was that the second table was not damaged. However, once the pictures were uploaded showing proof of visible damages such as cigarette burns, scraps, discoloration and broken locks. Now the merchant is falsely claiming that I signed a document consenting to a second damaged being delivered satisfactory.  I never signed a document agreeing to accepting the second damaged table. In fact, during the second delivery I was never asked to sign a document be immediately I disappointed with the damaged table being given to me a second time but worst. The delivery driver recommend I contact the store and speak with the owner. After, several phone calls and receiving the run around. I decided to go up to the store and resolve the issue. The owner agreed to replace the second table in April however, then the store closed with no further notice of the exact new location. The merchant never contacted me to resolve this issue. I fortunately located the store on 01/26/2016 and when addressed the issue the merchant first agreed to replaced table. He recommended I returned the following day to finalize order and pay the difference in cost (since new table cost more than previous)and upon arrival he showed me the altered document and was I disagreed and stated that was not my signature. He became verbally abusive in front of grandchildren and threw me out the store.  I feel victimized, degraded and robbed. I have contacted the Revdex.com requesting a representative compare my initial contract of purchase with the forgery document the merchant has on record. The signature don’t match and this will be the final debunking of the continuous mistruth the merchant is sharing. Please Revdex.com hold this merchant accountable for purposefully taking monies and not providing a quality product. I have the copy of my sales receipt, the voicemail proof and the video of the merchant verbally assaulting and throwing me out of their story only because I requested quality merchandise.

Review: I purchased a marble laminated dinette set from this store. However, the table was delivered damaged. The table had a large visible air pocket beneath the marble laminated surface located on the leaf of the table. I notified the store multiple times regarding the damaged table. Finally, the merchant sent a person to the house however, the person only took a photo of the damaged table. Once the repairman left, the merchant never follow-up on the repairs required for the damaged table. After, no response from the merchant regarding repairs approx. a month passed, I had to personally go to the store. Once I arrived at the store the merchant reviewed the pictures and agreed to send a replacement table that he had in the back of the storage room. I never saw the second table until the item was delivered. Unfortunately, the second table had excessive damages, such as cigarette burns, scrapes and scratches. I immediately called the merchant and spoke with Ron and explained the issue. Ron offered to take money of the cost of the purchase due to the damages however, I simply requested a new table. Ron, stated he will call me back regarding this issue. At the time of purchase the merchant was located in Penn Hills on Rodi Rd. However, shortly after receiving the second damaged table the store closed. I was not notified of the new store location and eventually found out on my own several months later the new location. Yesterday, I located the new store in Edgewood Towne center and explained to the co-owner Max and Ron (staff mbr) my request for a new table. Ron agreed that I had called several times to the store prior to the store relocating to Edgewood Towne Center. Also, I showed both Max and Ron my contract given to me by the store indicating in writing they were going to replace the table with a new table or make a different selection. I was advised by Max to return tomorrow to the finalize order. Today, Max had a forged document signed stating I agreed the second table was fine and I was kicked out.Desired Settlement: I would like to request a refund for the dinette set. I have a video of the co-owners kicking me out of the store and I fear for my safety. I don't want a store credit and will be glad to return their merchandise.

Review: Brought furniture from this store and upon delivery of my service, this stores delivery guys ruined my furniture. Took me a couple of months to get any attention, after voicing my complaint no action had been taken, I've been getting the run around mangers telling me I need to talk to store owner, in which who is never around, I explained that I didn't want my money back just wanted new items due to the fact that I had nothing to do with the damage but paid good money for my furniture. It has been alittel over year and nothing still had been done about this issue.Desired Settlement: all I want is for them to replace my items and if not than to give me a refund

Review: On November 24th, 2014 I purchased a Silver Chintali Queen size bed frame which was picked up from the Two Brother's Furniture location in [redacted]. Originally, the salesman [redacted] and [redacted] owner confirmed my bed frame would be accompanied with a nightstand per the catalog. When I received my bed frame there was no night stand and the wrong bed rails(King size instead of Queen frames) were given to the person who delivered the products to my home. Once I realized I was given the wrong products I called to have the item returned. The next day I personally returned the bed rails back to the store and exchanged them for the correct Queen size bed rails. There was a big dispute on who did and did not offer me a nightstand and offered to spray paint a nightstand to make up for the lack of availability of the nightstand I was promised according to my invoice slip. The new bed frame was taken home for assembly to only find out there were no screws to assemble the bed frame. Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, I had to wait two days to alert the company I had once again received a defective box that lacked the correct items for the product I purchased. I requested to speak to the manager to discuss the poor service and defective products I received on TWO occasions. He became irate when I explained to him I no longer wanted the Chintali Queen size bed frame/ night stand and would like a refund due to the poor customer service. In a derogatory and discourteous tone he states " It's not my fault the box doesn't have the screws, If you don't want the bed frame you can have a store credit. I will not give you your money back." I continued to reiterate I'm not responsible for the lack of diligence placed in packaging the right products in the sealed boxes. He continued to mention " It's not his fault the products were incorrect. " " If you don't like my service you can go somewhere else and buy your furniture." Two Brothers Furniture has provided me with an unsatisfactory customer service experience.Desired Settlement: In order to resolve my unsatisfactory customer service experience and incorrect product delivery a full cash refund is being requested. I have no desires to order or purchase any products from the Two Brothers Company at anytime in the future which would make a store credit an inappropriate option for a settlement. I'm also requesting Two Brothers Company to personally pick up their product from my home to be returned to their stock room once my cash refund has been granted.

Review: I purchased a TV stand back in September of this year. When I purchased the item the salesman did not inform me that the item had to be put together. I had no knowledge of this until I came to pick up the item. The salesman [redacted] stated that possibly one of the furniture delivery guys could put it together but that would cost $20.00 (I did not have additional funds to do this). [redacted] spoke to the delivery person who stated that the item was easy to assemble. The delivery person told me this as well. I took the item home and opened the box the directions were pictures of the item with letters to each piece hard to decipher. Additionally one of the pieces were rusted and the shelves which were glass were very heavy. I took the item back to the store asking for an exchange. The salesman [redacted] called his boss who stated that it could not be exchanged because the box had been opened. This information is not stated on the invoice.I then sent someone else there on my behalf to resolve the issue again the manager was not there. [redacted] stated that they would put the item together and deliver it but they would have to charge me $50.00(as opposed to $100.00). When I first bought the item [redacted] stated that I should take it home myself in order to avoid the delivery fee, however he did not inform me that the item had to be put together otherwise I would not have bought it. I cannot do any kind of heavy lifting anymore due to health issues this is why I would not have purchased the item in the first place.Desired Settlement: I have tried to resolve this in a businesslike and professional matter but this has not worked. I initially wanted to exchange fro something else. Now I do not want to do business with this company period. my concern is whether or not you will be able assist me in resolving this matter since this company has a history of not responding to complaints. Thank you.
