Thank You ***.

Bought a truck from two car guys first and foremost he gave me an inspection sheet that turned out to be the false passing . Because I took it to a shop to get it inspected a second time while it was in the shop trying to figure out what was wrong with it cuz it wouldn't stay started after 2 weeks. and did not pass at all . Was told needed new ball joints injector O-rings in cups and possibly injectors and hydro booster and brakes . But was told ball joints replaced was also told new injectors were purchased and also cups in o rings and Hydro booster was replaced before he sold it to me...2 weeks later the truck started having issues starting then when started would die. And also was told all new brakes and rotors which turned out to be a liar as well tried returning the truck within the 30 days was hung up on numerous times and drugged out beyond the the 30 days on purpose because then his warranty and was hung up on after being called numerous names and my grandmother who cosign for me was called numerous names *** and was hung up on call the finance company which was *** was told by then to send them receipts on everything all together $4,000 was invested in the truck set 4/5 months because obviously I didn't have that kind of money at the time and was told may need a new motor just recently. have not had it a year yet this all could have been settled within the warranty time but instead was verbally assaulted and warranty dragged out. very disrespectful guy

I met Mr Miller when he came into my store looking at a truck he said was his that was just repossessed by another company. I heard the same thing about them you are hearing from him about me. This was nearly one year ago but the truck was never brought back to me for any type of diagnosis regarding any of these issues. Not once. He starting leaving me bad reviews everywhere he could to tarnish my good name. Still does makes negative remarks everywhere I post trucks. Unfortunately too much time has passed for me to know what may have been wrong with truck if anything within warranty period. He is welcome to trade out of this truck if finance company agrees to it

Sincerely

I thought that was a generous offer. I guess not. I have copies of safety inspection done by *** and warranty papers signed by both signor and co signor if needed. Let me know if you want them faxed or mailed.

To start I had a great experience with john the owner he promised ti fix some issues which I was grateful for and expected since I paid 11,500 for a vehicle. We agreed to have it dropped off saturday for repairs which only 1 was completed they failed to repair the rear sliding glass window and caused more issues in the process his so called mechanic left the truck in complete disarray grease everywhere missing and broken trim pieces door gaskets not put on properly etc.. Second issue was ebrake cable was hanging low which his so called mechanic just zip tied it up which clearly isnt a proper repair. 3rd the heat which they claimed they fixed and asked what was done he said it needed coolant still not working basically some minor issues which ill have a real mechanic look at and repair properly. Today when I got in the truck to drive to work I noticed water in the back seat rear window is now leaking bad ill have to dig into that issue now as well since im sure his shade tree mechanic left some gaskets off. When I called to inform him he absolutely freaked out yelling and calling me pushy I have never been spoken to like that from someone in position like his as a business owner he should be embarrassed for acting like a child and throwing a hissy fit I honestly thought at one point he might even cry he was so upset very unstable individual. Hopefully I receive my title soon so I can be done with guy. I think the rite thing for him to do is refund me some money to have these issues taken care of by a qualified auto technician but I know thats very unlikely.

I tried to do everything possible to help him. After he went home with the truck he call about 5 different times within a 48 hour period with a bunch of small issues most buyers might expect but I kindly agreed to take of the problems. He made it perfectly clear Saturday was his only day to bring the truck in for repairs. Unfortunately I don't have a mechanic on staff Saturdays but to make him happy my mechanic agreed to try and help. He can call me and my staff all the names he wants it just shows his level of maturity. These are minor repairs I am willing to take care of, but if he insists on having the repairs done elsewhere I will be more than happy to reimburse him $250.00. Title will be here tomorrow as I promised as he said mailing it was perfectly fine. Let me know if this helps.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: *** you all of people can not speak of maturity I called you and not once ever raised my voice while you yelled at me and still I did not raise my voice with you. You offered to have your mechanic work on saturday as you said in your own words (he could use the money). If you are willing to reimburse me $250 towards repairs I will gladly except and it will help Please enclose a check with my title. Im sorry it had to come to this but if you have let me speak earlier without having a meltdown this could have been resolved in a much easier way.

Sincerely

Two Car Guys Response • Oct 21, 2019

You may not have raised your voice but you insulted me and one of my employees. I will send a check for $250 as good faith to settle this dispute along with your title. It may have ended on a bad not, but Thank You for your business.

Less than poor service. Don't waste your time, energy, or money here.
I inquired about the business's offering of a 2004 Toyota Camry XLE for $4900.00; (which the car in of itself has a rather good rating.) No matter. As the car was going to be bought for my teenage kids I asked the Business Owner, namely John ***, to provide an update in respect to the vehicle's history, any upcoming repairs, maintenance issues, tires, belts, bushings, battery, filter, oil change and if the car had it's transmission flushed. In essence, a set of very basic questions anyone with half a brain would ask. I also stated prior to my purchasing the car I would like the opportunity to have it checked out. After all, with 110,000 miles on the car and with teenagers driving it to work, soccer practice and elsewhere, such a request would be reasonably common right? Evidently not to this business owner. I get an immediate response from John *** stating I need a $14999.00 car and not a $4999.00 car. He then proceeds to tell me that I need to raise the bar. He additionally expressed "Good luck in taking cars in this price range to mechanics, I have been in business 14 years & it rarely if ever works out." Yes, those are his exact words. And so, was this his attempt to upsell a potential client to a more expensive car or did he just admit that his car is pure junk? And if this one is junk, what does that say about the other vehicles for sale on his lot? If you have the money to waste, the time to engage in sophomoric dialogue and if you don't care about your family's safety, the quality of your purchase or being frequently broke down in need of a towing service then Two Car Guys comes highly recommended. If however, you're seeking a halfway decent car from a reputable dealership, at a fair price, that delivers a feeling of peace, then do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

We were searching for a used car between $6,000 & $7000. We were shown three in our price range. The first one we were told was a trade in. We took it for a test drive and started smelling burnt oil. When we parked the car back on the car lot we noticed smoke billowing out of the grill. We went inside and told the salesperson who told us they just put a new head gasket on the car and it was residual oil burning off.
So we moved onto the next car which either had bad rotors or they needed to be turned. Also the transmission was rough. It would slam into second and third gear. We went back to the dealership and told them about the problems we noticed. The salesperson said, "Boy you're really trying to find something aren't you?" "Those are good cars." "I don't think i'm going to be able to help you." "You're looking for a perfect car and you're not going to find it at that price."
I expect any car I buy no matter the price to be free of mechanical problems and leaks.

I bought a vehicle from this business and it had a lubricated warranty on the engine. Two weeks in I took it to an auto parts store to get a diagnosis because the car was shifting weird. The diagnostic codes indicated that the engine was misfiring and I needed spark plugs. About 4 days later I made an appointment for a tune up to have the spark plugs changed. During this appointment the shop found an encrustation of oil and cleaned it out. Within a week I the vehicle had an oil leak. I called the business and was told they would fix it. Their repair made things worse and I called them back and the dealer told me that they don't specialize in repairs on the type of vehicle I purchased. I asked the dealer to buy it back and was told that they would not buy it back.

Two Car Guys Response • May 07, 2019

Our dealership provides a limited warranty. The warranty covers the engine, transmission and major lubricated parts. It is a 30 day warranty and the liabilities are for 50% of both parts and labor to be covered by the dealership and the remaining 50% to be covered by the customer. Although Miss Hicks chose to take the vehicle to another mechanic when she initially took the vehicle to be diagnosed and serviced elsewhere prior to contacting us, we agreed to look at the vehicle when the problem persisted. We did some routine maintenance, including an oil change at that time. These services were over and above our 30 day warranty services. Miss Hicks was offered an extended warranty through an outside company at the time of purchase, and she declined due to cost. The warranty period ended on 2/18/19.

In the interest of good faith, we will agree to extend an invitation to Miss Hicks to bring the vehicle to our dealership for a FREE diagnostic. Further we agree to repair the oil leak at 50% cost of parts and labor to be covered by her and 50% cost of parts and labor to be covered by our dealership. We will give her an estimate before performing any service to her vehicle. We are available to help her May 13- May 18, 2019. This will be our final attempt to assist her in repair of her vehicle. Please have her ask for Angela when she calls to set her appointment.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Good customer service. Reasonable price. It was overall a very easy process and a good experience. Contacted them via email and got a reply quickly.
