Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: When the shirts were dropped off for service none of them had oil stainsThe stains were caused by the business and the careless way they handle garmentsThe stains were located in the lower portion of each shirt consistent with dragging the garments on the groundIn addition, the vendor never offered $type of cleaning serviceIn any case, no dry cleaning or more expensive service will remove these oil stains Regards, [redacted]
Once garments leave the premises, we cannot be held responsible for what happens to them. Clients response indicates that the garments were handled carelessly by her/family. It seems that the client herself (or whomever picked up the garmnts) unintentionally dragged the garment across the floor or quite possibly closed the car door/trunk on said garments. When our garments are brought over from the dry cleaning facility, they are not bundled in accordance to clients. We inspect and sort out the clothes upon arrival. So for ALL 4 garments to have stains located in the same general lower portion indicates that this carelessness happened AFTER the garments were assembled and packaged. Our racks are 6 feet high and garments do not touch the floor. We cannot be held liable for what the client herself has done to the garments. Also, how is it that the client claims that regardless of any type of cleaning, that the stains would not come out, without having made any attempts. In most likelihood the client or her children/spouse unknowingly dragged the garments on the sidewalk or closed the door/trunk on them. It is a common enough occurrence that we see. But again, we cannot be held liable for anything that happens once the garments have been picked up. We are running an honest business and do not appreciate persons trying to take advantage of us for their negligence and trying to throw the blame on us. We have been patience with these false accusations and have nothing more to say on this matter.

Response:Customers 4 shirts were laundered at 99cents a piece at customers request. We had informed the customer that grease and oil stains do not come out in the laundry and that the garments need to be dry cleaned. Customer did not want to pay to have garments dry cleaned ($2.50 each as opposed to...
the 99cents), therefore the 4 garments were laundered at request. When the garments were presented to the customers with the oil stains intact (as we had warned) the customer demanded that we take the stains out but she did not want to pay the difference for the dry cleaning process. She claimed that the shirts were ruined and demanded that we reimburse her the FULL retail value of the garments that had obviously been born numerous times. The service we provided was what she requested. We had warned her that the stains would not come out via laundry but she did not want to pay the difference. It is like ordering a medium cheese pizza and getting upset that you did not receive an extra large supreme! It is unfair that she threatens us and yells at us claiming that her shirts were ruined when there was clearly an option for the garments to be cleaned in the manner we suggested. Thank you for your time and patience.Sent on: 7/30/2015 5:42:45 PMSent by: [redacted]
