We were hoping to get this out last week however this is the busiest time of our year and we have not had one day off in weeks, so I am sorry this took days.As per the above subject # ***Again I had done everything that I physically could; contracts and a tasting as well as numerous phone callsWhen I received the last email I did contact the customer and apologize I also said I would speak to my mother about a refund and send it in the mailAs a good will offering we will refund $because we did do a tasting which is $per person normally and because I did send several contracts and it took many hoursHope this helps thank you,Robin S***, Office ManagerTwo Gals Catering

11/8/17I am writing to you in response to a letter I received on November 8, 2017. It is regards to acomplaint that was ?led by [redacted]; which pertains to his event which was scheduledOctober 8, 2017.I met with [redacted] and [redacted] at our work place and discussed their plans for their event...

on July8th, however we connected via [redacted] and then email much earlier. Shortly after connecting I endedup in the hospital with kidney stones from March 28th to August 1, 2017 I had 7 operations, 9 kidneystones, 7 stents and a battery of tests.The next to the last time that I was hospitalized my mother thevery same day as I was taken by ambulance to the hospital as well and spent 5 days in the hospital withinternal bleeding. We are a small family run business so it is either myself or my mother that does thebooking of events and we both went down at the same time. They did contact me and I did let themknow each time in between my hospital stays that l was sorry for any inconvenience but I was ill andwould send or answer their emails as soon as l could. It has taken a long time to recover as well. Weheld their date for them and I am attaching the emails that were sent as well in this complaint answer aswell as the not 1 but 3 contracts that I sent them and they never sent a single signed contract but did letme know that they received each one.My paper work should show that I did in a timely fashion as well as sent the contract whichstates that the deposit is non- refundable after 2 weeks of booking. Not to mention that we did have atasting and I charge a fee of $ 75.00 per person unless you book your wedding with us. They did booktheir wedding but cancel just one month before the wedding.Please let me know if there is anything else that you need from me. Two Gals has been Inbusiness for 40 years and we pride ourselves on doing our best, however I could have never imaginedthat my health would have taken the turn that it did this year. I am a cancer survivor of 11 years and thisby far was much worse than my cancer. This was 2 months before their wedding as well if not longerand they had no real reason to cancel except they kept changing the menu and expecting me to dropeverything I was doing and give them another contract which I stated that I would note the change tothe menu I did this in writing as well.Thank you for your time,Robin S.,Office manager
