Two Guys and a Truck AKA A&A Alliance Moving Inc.

"I used this moving company to move at the begining of October. I submitted the below letter to them the following week and was promised a $100 refund check. It has been over two months now and I still have not received it. Ontop of their horrible and rude service, they have confirmed with me three times that they refund check would be sent and I still have yet to receive it. Please see letter below."On Friday 10/4 I used your company to move my one bedroom of personal belongings from Jersey City to Hoboken. I had previously emailed back and forth with a representative from your company about the pricing and hourly rates. I had one bedroom worth of items; i.e. about 12 boxes, a bed, one dresser and a wardrobe. All of which I was very clear about in my email. The movers did a nice job of arriving on time and working swiftly to move my boxes from one apartment to another. What I did not expect though was that they would have to unassembled my entire bed and my entire wardrobe. I was very thankful that everything was moved in one piece and that even though it took much longer than I expected for them to reassemble my bed and wardrobe, it was completed adequately. However, I was very clear in my email that I wanted to stick to my original quoted budget of $295 for 2.5 hours and then $55 for each half hour extra (which I was trying to keep to a minimum). I made it clear that I was not looking for the movers to pack and unpack my items. I wanted to keep it to a minimum, have my own items packed before they arrived and was able to unpack my own items after they left. I definitely did not expect the movers though to waste time and money placing each of my average size boxes into even larger boxes, each of which I was charged $10.00 extra for. This was completely unnecessary. I was not even made aware of this fact until the packing was already completed and everything was in the truck.
