Review: I took my ford flex to have body damage repaired, when the vehicle was returned to me, it had a leak on the side where the work was done (drivers side). We had a large amount of rain within a weeks time of the repair being completed and we discovered a large amount of pooled water on the drivers side floor of the vehicle after a night of hard rain. There were no previous issues with a leak of any kind.

Part of the repair that was done, was to the drivers side door, which is where the car is now leaking. The owner of the company stated that it was "a complete impossibility" that the damage could have occurred during the previous week while the car was being repaired initially.

Prior to the initial repair for the body damage, the vehicle was an inspected, within that inspection there was no note of the door being 'off set'. Which is now the issue. The owner is refusing to address the issue and has directed me to my insurance company to file a claim for the new damage done to the car; although it is clear that the repair shop is responsible. The owner also REFUSED to allow me to speak to the individual that worked on my vehicle.

The initial damage to the car occurred approximately 13 weeks ago; within that time frame we have had extensive rain, due to the season, we have experienced no leakage within the car. Took the vehicle in for the initial repair, April 29, 2013.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to have have the door repaired so that it does not leak, and to have the carpet in that portion of the car replaced. I have a small child that has a health issue and being that the carpet was extensively saturated, it is more likely than not; mildew or mold will populate, potentially causing my child to be hospitalized. Currently, due to the season, my child is not allowed to play outside or to be outside for extended periods, have mold or mildew spores in my vehicle would be seriously detrimental to my child's health
