Review: I had to board my dog here because my daughter had to have surgery out of town,

I boarded my dog on Thursday 6-6-13 and had an appointment to pick him up between 9:00am - 9:30am on Sunday 6-9-13. I sat outside knocking on their door while an employee was inside and did not answer so I left a note thru their mail slot I ended up leaving at 9:45am. I called them at least forty times with no one answering. So I went back the white car that was there the first time was gone and so was my note. I still have not received a phone call back! This is the dirtiest facility I have ever stepped foot into it has dog hair everywhere and a inch of dust on everything I truly believe that the health of the animals that go here are in danger!Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund!

I took my 2 black labs to Two Paws Up on 12/6/14. When picking them up it smelled so bad in there we needed to walk outside to breath. There was dog hair all over the reception area. We took a peek into the opening where the dogs are kept and it was horrific looking. The sheetrock around the floor was moldy. The place didn't look sanitary at all. One week to the day, my older lab developed kennel cough. One week from that day he developed a hot spot which was infected and infected his ear. We took him to the vet and the vet informed us that was due to soap not being completely rinsed off the dog or using non sanitized equipment and it irritated his skin. We were told the dog needed surgery to remove the infection because it was so bad. The vet bill is over $900.00 dollars! We called Two Paws Up and told them about what was going on and they had absolutely nothing to say. No sorry, nothing. She was just quiet. I want reimbursement for the vet bill as well as the $60.00 we spent taking them there. Since we got no response I guess we are going to have to go to small claims court. There is absolutely no way this place is up to code. I have read several reviews and they state the the same experience as us. Something needs to be done. There has to be standards that they need to keep in order to stay in business and someone needs to investigate that they are meeting those standards.
