Two Sisters Cleaning

The initial cleaning was very thorough and they charged an hourly rate but after that we were told that the cleanings would be $for a three bedroom/two bath home which is approximately square feetThe second time they came they charged the hourly rate againWhen I called to inquire why it was not the flat rate I was told that they were having trouble with their vacuum cleaner and to stop and restart the machinePlus she claimed they had to pick up children's toysMy daughter-in-law asked that in the future they only clean the kitchen and family room area plus the two bathroomsI made three calls and left messages requesting to negotiate for a lower price for cleaning the home since they didn't have to clean as much spaceI never received a call back, but during this waiting period the maids informed her they had just cleaned a three story home for the same amount that we were paying and that some of the homes they cleaned only got charged $When I did get a reply from my calls and messages it was in the form of a text message in which I was informed that the $charge was the contracted amountNeither I nor my daughter-in-law ever signed a contract or were given anything in writingThe last straw came when they passed judgement on the care my daughter-in-law was giving her children and, by the way, that was in writing in the last bill I paid to themI have requested that they never clean her house again and I would never recommend their service to anyoneI was at my son and daughter-in-laws house the day after they had cleaned to babysit my grandchildrenI had to clean up some spilled water on the floor and the rag was so dirty I couldn't believe that it had just been mopped the previous day!
