12/23/19- We were given an estimate on purchasing granite and tile and made a down payment of $1900. On Jan 7, they over charged us by several hundred additional dollars, and never provided a final receipt, all we have is the estimate.
1/20/20- Referred us to another contractor to do the installation, we notified Jonelle on this day the install was going poorly. Installation Contractor said he would work with Two Stone owner "Karl" to assist us with a financial solution due to the many issue with the install and told us on 1/22/20 Karl would deduct a couple hundred dollars from the cost. Issues: 1. Granite pattern is running in different directions, despite purchasing two recommended large slabs rather than prefab, per Two Stone. Seams are rough and evident, Tile back splash is uneven and scarred due to poor handling by installer. Two Stone never checked up on the job despite our complaints beginning with the first day of install.
2/4/20-Called for help from the store when presented with a bill from the installer. Never called back. Called again on 2/5/20 reaching the owner. When we requested he inspect the job of the contractor he referred us to, he said I'll get back to you in a day or two. He has never called us back.
We have had three other contractors look at the installation of the granite and glass back splash and they have stated it is poor workmanship and should be ripped out and redone.
2/10/20 -Called credit card companies, and discovered the overcharging of materials and filed a dispute.
Despite efforts to settle this with the store, they are not returning our calls or willing to come and inspect the job they setup only stating "we never had this kind of trouble with them in the past"

wonderful customers that selected and purchased in stock counter top material for
their kitchen renovation. We went over the layout and how the veins in the
stone would be installed be due to the shape of the kitchen. The billing
concern would seem to be over the $251 for sales tax. We are distraught over this
confusion and apologize for the inconvenience it has caused. A labor estimate was
provided as one freely is for all our clients and then forward to a licensed
contractor for review. Karl has set up a meeting on February 12th as

I am rejecting this response because: Two Stone has taken zero responsibility for the referral to Stiltz Granite and Tile and the problems encountered with their poor workmanship and our complaint to the Nevada Contractor's Licensing Board. They have also refused to respond to many attempts of a compromise or to provide documentation of the promised discount having been applied to the bill. Two Stone without a contractor's license provided us with a bid/estimate for the installation for the granite that was incorrect leading to further difficulty. Their complete lack of customer service and ethics for the process of the purchase and installation when a customer comes to their establishment is truly shameful. Very disappointing and dishonest experience, we would not recommend them to anyone.
