Two Way Relocation did an excellent job moving my stuff from Rochester, NY to Jacksonville, FL [redacted] and [redacted] were both extremely professional and personable throughout the moveThey made sure that my possessions were properly wrapped and arrived damage freeEven with other loads on the trailer I received mine within days, versus the 7-I was quotedI would recommend them to anyone looking to move as they are able to accomadate a lot or little at a reasonable price
I signed a binding estimate from this Assurance Van Lines, not knowing they were a brokerThe move day, guys show up in a rental ftEnterprise truckThey were very unorganized and it took several hours to completeOnce they were done, they revised the paperwork and said I had lbsinstead of lbs which I thought very unlikelyI called Assurance and Two Way over the next week, spoke to them no less than timesThen the moving company tells me its another $for over weigh and another $because it's going to a different address from storage, although it's the same distanceI asked for the weight reciept when it left my state and I was told the driver "misplaced it" So my bonded contract with Assurance which states "Federal regulations requires carrier to honor original estimate if foreman has loaded truck prior to shipper signing and agreeing to revised estimate." Assurance would not work on my behalf to remedy this situation so my original estimate that was $turned into $after their courtesy discounts Both of these companies are horrible to work with - stay away!
