Two Y Ranch Reviews (%countItem)

Two Y Ranch has been a great business to work with. I have several puppies from Felicia and is always very sweet and easy to work with. She does charge a premium for her dogs; however, based on the quality I would expect as much.
Whenever I have had an issue she is quick to help me resolve it and has offered tips and suggestions for training and maintaining a good health for my puppies she is a very useful resource and great breeder!

We bought a puppy from Two Y Ranch and the experience was great! Felicia was super helpful, she sent the puppy with some extra food and gave us recommendations for what to feed. She even reached out to me a few days later to make sure everything was going good.
Would highly recommend her!

Dogs have a premium price tag but come with fleas and parasites. Breeder extremely defensive instead of trying to be helpful. Always an excuse and her story always changed- said the fleas came from the pet nanny (who she then used again to retrieve the puppy), then said the fleas were from a kitten she had adopted. Either way, her animals live in dirty conditions. I am not sure how she fits them all in her trailer.
After my complaints, she offered me a refund. She only partially refunded me after getting the dog back in her possession. She said whatever she needed to get the animal back with lies that were not honored. She then resold the dog for $400 dollars more than I paid to another family. She pocketed the $550 dollars owed to me.
Buying a puppy should be a happy moment in your life. Save yourself the heartache and headache of dealing with Felicia and go with an honest, reputable breeder instead. Avoid at all costs!

Two Y Ranch Response • Aug 01, 2020

I am more than happy to tell my side of the story! I have been breeding for about 8 years now. I have had very few issues with clients or puppies. However, it is inevitable that at some point something can happen or someone will be unhappy. Puppy went with her litter mates and had her puppy check, as all my litters due. Unfortunately, with this virus we are no longer allowed inside the vet clinic. Puppy left with a clean bill of health. The puppy flew about 2 weeks later. There are MANY videos and pictures showing the puppy out in my house playing and interacting with me and other puppies. I still have these pictures and videos. Puppy was NOT crate trained. I never claimed puppy would be crate trained. To expect a puppy let alone a puppy as tiny as the puppy they had received, to hold its bowels all night or longer than a couple hours is not realistic. Family orivinally claimed their TINY puppy would not hold it all night which was not normal. I am not sure how a 11 week old puppy weighing less than 2 pounds was expected to hold it The family took the puppy to the vet, where she had developed cocci. This is naturally occurring in the body and is MANY times brought on by stress. Travel is a huge stress on any animal or even human. I did apologize to the family for them finding a flea. We had in-fact taken in a tiny tiny kitten that had fleas. The puppies while playing on the rug must have picked one up. No other puppies had fleas or any issues. I followed up with the families and evwryone else was more than happy. As for missing hair she claimed the puppy had AFTER the puppy was back with me, this is a complete lie. Not once was this mentioned to me. I also documented me picking up the puppy and took pictures. There is not one spot of missing fur or hair loss on this puppy. The family could not wait to send the puppy back for minimal normal puppy issues that can arise. I have a message of them asking me to take the puppy back asap they did not want to take care of her anymore. Then a day later the said they were unsure. I was alarmed by their behavior and offered to upfront the shipping of $450 so they did not have to come up with any more money. I told them I would refund once she was homed. Not once did I say I was going to be out any money and pay out of pocket myself to ship the puppy back to me. I had hardly gotten the puppy back and already had a message from them saying if they did not get the full $1,800 back they would drive down and pick her back up. This means I am supposed to be out $450 plus the 18+ hours I drove 3 times to Atlanta for this puppy. I told the family they were not getting her back. This is not Walmart. This is a living breathing puppy who needs a home that is ready for a puppy. Once the puppy found another home, I refunded the family their money minus $550. Which $450 was paying the nanny to bring the puppy back that they did not want. This puppy was healthy and was very well taken care of by me. Her new family had zero complaints and absolutely loved her. As a breeder, I feel what I did was right. No puppy should be forced to stay with a family who does not want them and can not dedicatethe time it takes to have a puppy and train it. I will not be refunding the $550. I have all documentation and pictures to verify my end of the story. Also the claim that I sold the puppy for $400 more than they paid is also a false claim on their end. In the end, I feel this family was upset I did not cover returning the puppy to me out of my own pocket and has now made false claims mixed with a partial truth. I have MANY happy families and can offer any information to any future families who are wanting me to validate my side. All families are also required to read my contract prior to a deposit and agree to my contract. I now after all of this am going to require a puppy application to apporve each home that gets one of my puppies. This will be to ensure each family understands the responsibility of getting a puppy and is prepaired to care for a puppy. In my contract families have to return the puppy if they no longer want the puppy, with no refund. I feel giving the family the refund of $1,250 was very fair given the circumstance. I should not have even given a refund for them underestimating bringing a tiny puppy into their home. I thought I was doing right and apparently they felt they should have gotten more. I wish them all the best. It is impossible to make every person happy but if I was such a bad person, more bad reviews would be out there, especially after 8 years of breeding.
