Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/08/21) */
on January 17th,*** *** selected product in our showroom to remodel her bathroomCabinets were custom ordered from *** cabinetry in South Dakota, Vanity top custom ordered off our display samples from *** marble in
Arthur, IlThe faucets and tile were stock items. The process for install would take approximately daysOld product removed and new installedThe cabinetry and top after ordering would take weeks to manufacture and shipAll timelines were met and product installed per the customers satisfaction as stated by Mrs***Before final balance was paid week later Mrs*** replied she did not like the color of the topThe sample should the darker runs and had more white than was in the small sample the company supplies for the showroomsA new selection was made and a sample ordered to make sure there would be no discrepancyA new top was ordered to replace the original top ordered by the customer at no expenseKeep in mind the top was installed for a week before the customer decided she preferred another colorI not only ate the expense of the top but also the labor to remove the old/new top and install the replacementThere was box of flooring purchased and project required The additional box of tile was billedI am astonished by the complaint after all the expense we incurred to make a customer happyEverything was fine as the customer statedI will forward all contracts, purchase orders, product received timelines, and installation commitments if neededBy the way the custom color she ordered on the 2nd top was an upgrade but also never chargedWe have been in business for yearsI guess never too long to be surprisedIt is imperative that I defend the companies good reputation

[redacted] dealt directly with me not my contractor. I can get a statement from my contractor if necessary. My contractor was not going to install anything involved with Ty Cour Kitchens. All of the business transactions went through me and not my contractor speaking on my behalf. [redacted] never addressed the counter top that was not cut correctly or his over charging me or his racist statements towards me. He is lying and I have pictures proving the counter top was not cut correctly and he never offered a solution to correct it. He only stated that he would never do business with me again.

This countertop was quoted 6 months prior to purchase by contractor. I have the quote available and will make it available to you by scan and e-mail. Her contractor was doing install, not us, as stipulated on invoice. We measured it at no charge and delivered it at no charge. We have been in...

business 40 years and sell the home centers as well as contractors and their customers. All of our business transactions are handled proffesionaly.  I have all documentation available to dispute this claim. Any accusations made of treating Mrs. [redacted] can and will be disputed.

We are in the wholesale distribution business. We are in our 40th year in business. Product was purchased and distributed to customer, Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] as scheduled.Cabinets delivered in 1 week. Custom countertops templated, manufactured, and delivered in 4 days. The 2 cabinets in question are...

not cabinets but custom cabinet doors being manufactured to match cabinets. These 2 doors did not hold up any of the installation and customer was told it would take at least 2 weeks to manufacture. The 2 week time frame ends 3/16/18. I personally talked with Mrs. [redacted] and kept her in the loop about cabinet and countertop delivery. The contractor we sell was contacted daily about doors and progress on manufacturing. If checking the industry standards you will find our time line on product high on the scale. Our countertop delivery is way above industry standard. Customer service is #1 and any loss of communication in this matter we apologize for. The contractor in this situation asked us to sell his customer direct as been the case many times without any problems. I am confused if all timelines are being met why the complaint. Doors will be delivered no later than the 15th of March which is a day earlier than discussed. I have pictures of the cabinets and countertops forwarded to me by contractor if needed if needed. It seems all parties did an excellent job during this project. I sincerely offer my apologies for any problems created by a loss of communications between contractor and customer. We have no control over that.Thank You,[redacted]Ty-Cour Kitchen & Bath
