Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/17) */
Tycoon did have customers truck for a while. He brought us the truck with a broken idler arm & said he would just park it here until he ordered & we got parts for truck instead of fixing it & then tearing it back apart. It sat here for 2-3...

months before we ordered parts & received them. Once we started getting parts for the truck, it did take some time no doubt.. He wanted a full Kelderman air ride 12" lift kit, custom seats, custom headlights, pwr steps, tv monitors, custom bumpers with led lights, huge stereo with a custom painted box, custom exhaust & the list goes on. He had a big ticket but obviously that much stuff takes a ton of time & he had told me all along that "I have other vehicles. I'm in no hurry, I need to pay you out anyway so that the wife don't know what this cost".
He had picked the truck up once & drove it 250 miles round trip to a Cowboys football game even with us telling him it wasnt a good idea & truck wasnt ready to be driven. The truck came back with a set of tires completely destroyed because it had not been aligned & wasn't ready to be driven.
As far as how the truck came to him after that The truck was not finished or ready to leave!!! His wife was told that up front while he was at home barking orders to pick it up & he was gonna get the backordered factory parts himself. We told his wife that if he was determined to take it to Dodge himself, we would trailer it for them or haul it home. He demanded she drive it. She made it about 6 blocks & front end was shaking so bad she parked it. BUT AGAIN we told them NOT TO DRIVE IT!! It needed the parts from Dodge. Parts had been on order for a while before he picked truck up so they may have been arriving by the time customer took truck to Dodge. I don't know.
As far as Tycoon not fixing anything or taking care of what needed to be finished, no person at Tycoon has spoke with the customer since 2-3 weeks before he had his wife picked the truck up. Not when he demanded his wife come get it & drive it home, not when she parked it beside the road, not after the front end parts came in from Dodge.. Not once has he came in, made contact or made an effort to bring the truck to be finished. By the way, this is 2 years ago that we are talking about & he has had plenty of chances to bring the truck in, call, or make arrangements. So as far as saying Tycoon wouldn't fix it, is completely false since we had not heard from him since before the truck left here.
As far as the facts to the last couple of months that we had the truck is simply this When he came back from the Cowboys game the following week, he had informed me how [redacted] off his wife was that he was out all night long, had messed up the tires & who knows what else. We were "friends" I felt like at that time so as he tells the story, "I just told her we had trouble with the truck to get out of hot water but we were at a gentlemans club most all night".. We visited, he told me it would be a few weeks before he got any more cash to bring in on the truck because he didn't wanna make it worse with the wife & he left. So thru the whole project, we worked on it as he dropped off funds. His inlaws(her parents) were in a week or so later & told us how mad the wife was & they weren't sure if it wasn't gonna end in divorce over the truck & out all night. He stopped by a time or 2 after & then ended up sending the wife for the truck. We haven't heard from him since. His inlaws even had to pay the little bit of balance he had for the tires that he had ruined.
As far as finishing the truck.. Id still finish the truck for him but it will have to be scheduled & brought in.. we are booked about 2-3 months in advance right now but would schedule him in if he would like. The easiest way to deal with it would have been to pick up the phone anytime in the last 2 years since its been gone & make that appointment instead of hiding behind a keyboard or his wife. I just don't know how a person can expect a truck to sit in the yard & fix itself. bottom line- His wife was told it wasn't done & he took it anyway & has never contacted Tycoon since.
