Called Tycos for a simple replacement of a glass shower door. Estimator came out and quoted me a price for installation only. I was left to source and purchase the shower door completely on my own with no knowledge of what I was doing. From a general contractor I would have expected some sort of advice or general direction. So I picked out a door from Home Depot and had it shipped to my house. It took 2 weeks for a "installer" to show up at my house to complete the project. He was unable to do so because he did not bring the installation instructions that I had emailed to their office. This was the Friday before Memorial Day. The installer then returned on Memorial Day at 3 pm. This was 6 hours later than the 9 am start time he had quoted me on the phone. He was at my house installing the shower door until 7:30pm. The installation was pitiful. Multiple areas were not even caulked or assembled correctly. The shower door consistently leaks and I am worried is now going to rust because of the poor installation. Multiple calls back to the office have gone unreturned. Looks like I will never hear from them again. This was a complete waste of my time and money as I am now going to have to purchase another door and pay to have that installed. If this is the quality of work performed on a simple project as this, just imagine how horrible a basement remodel or roof would be.
This contractor has installed several roofs for me both commercial and residential. He always meets his deadlines. I have been 100% satisfied with his workmanship and the quality of the installation. He always give me the best price as well. I highly recommend this contractor.
y flat porch roof was leaking and I was looking for a roofing co. to do the job. An acquaintance of mine suggested Tycos and I made an appointment for an estimate to repair the damage. I was satisfied with the estimate and the crew, as promised, showed up 2 days later and again, as promised, completed the job within one day. I am completely satisfied with the job and have to commend the crew on the great job they did cleaning up afterwards.I have already recommended them to a couple of my friends and will call on them for future work. Definitely a five star company.

Tycos replaced the shingled portion of my roof as well as flat roof on my home. From start to finish they were professional and courteous. I can't say enough about the men who completed the work. The work ethic was second to none and the most important thing I noticed is that they cared.The communication before, during and after the project has also been outstanding.
Tycos representative Steve was very professional and knowledgeable of the home improvement we were interested in which has a deck. His expertise in this area outshines any competitor we contacted. The crew leader of our project wa also courteous and had the job done in little more than a day which has very impessive based on the quality and craftsmanship of the finished project. And there is a life time transferable warranty on product and work. That is unheard of in the industry for decks

They replaced a flat roof over a dormer room appr. 20'x18'. Scheduling was done expediently. They arrived on time. The work was done expediently, and the finished product looks really great. Project manager, Sean, was very responsive following up on one small item and it was taken care of quickly. I have had roofs done before and good clean-up is usually a really big issue. That was not the case with Tycos, the clean up was excellent! I didn't have to do any follow-up after they left. I am now having them do an estimate on some new gutters, and would recommend them to friends.
