My convertible top and the lining in the trunk of my car- WHY were they removed to replace a heating core unit in the front of my car?
After you destroyed my c-top by applying force on it you ruined it, and to  conceal the damage you used epoxy glue in attempt try to seal the rear window. It did not work, as if you truly know anything about convertibles, a  whole lot of dynamics needs to be applied to seal /glue a rag top correctly.(So what you did was a botched job for my eyes, and it did not work. The work you were contacted to complete was totally unsatisfactory, you left panels hanging in the front of my car that you removed while replacing the heating core. I had to return to the shop to complain about unsatisfactory work,  heating core repair, coolant leakage in the bottom of my car and my connvertible top.

The Revdex.com spoke with the business. The customer came to the business with an issue concerning the heating core. This job needed two parts. After the first part was authorized to be order the customer called upset that the mark up is so high. She was told that the customer has the chance to buy their...

own parts but authorized the business ordering the part. As a gesture of goodwill the second part was given to the customer for the at cost price and the labor was returned for the first part. the customer has since kept bring issues up tot he business stating they were caused from the work completed. The top of the vehicle is old and dry rotten, the business did not damage that or the glass and will not be refunding the customer the price it would cost to update.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the business. The work that was done was not done near the top of the vehicle. One button needed to be tightened and he called Volvo and they told him how to fasten it. That is the only work that was done to the top of the vehicle. More than a week later the customer came back and said the top was damaged, however the top did not look like that when she left their shop. There is no way that damage went unnoticed for almost two weeks, it looks like it is dry rotting.

[redacted] has deviated from his admission to me about moving the top while working on replacing the heating core unit.  In the first place he did not expect that I would have noticed all of his sloppy work,  including the hanging panels that he  really needed to removed in the front driver and passenger sides inside the car.  On August 8th the first day after  [redacted] was done with my car I saw and spoke to [redacted] and [redacted] about the detached top. Why they removed it they know the answer(convenience) he and Carter admitted that either through touching or neglience, they moved the convertible top which really had nothing to do with the repairs they were hired to do. After you forced the top down you and applied some $1.00 expoxy glue to cover some of the damages you did to my car.IT DID NOT WORK.
[redacted] it is time you admit  to the damages you have done to my car and accept responsibility for poor workmanship.

Review: Billing practice: Took my car in for heating core replacement part which was purchased for 102.00 from [redacted] billing cost 214.20 Cost of repairs and labor and parts cost 641.00, work done over a two day period. (Friday August 8the and Tuesday August 12th) On Friday I noticed that the convertible top was moved as there was a huge gap between the body and where the top sits. I recently took the car in to [redacted] 7/18/14 to have the top checked for repairs and it was replaced manually nice and tight on the body of the car. I brought it to the mechanic [redacted] and [redacted]'s attention, they stated while they were working on the car the top moved,( This is vertually impossible: As three things have to be in motion for to activate the top, hand break up , and pressed switch on the dash board and the engine has to be running) this is not the way I gave you all my car and I woud like it back the way it was, if means taking it back to [redacted] as there risks in driving the car with a top that pop up at any minute. Word of caution: Please do not force the top down.Took the car back on tues 8/12/14 with the promise to complete the work on the heating core take care the convertible top problem they created. This morning(8/27/14 I had to visit Tyler Automotive once more: panels under the steering wheel not replaced correctly, the collapsed rear on the convertible top which had nothing to do with repairs, and coolant sensor light which inidicates that the initial repair was not done correctly. When I brought these issues to [redacted] attention he refuses to take any responsibility for what he has done to my car. I have since followed up to let him know on the phone that I will be taking my car to the [redacted] dealership to repair the damage he has done to the convertible top and I will be sending him the bill, he hung up the phone before I completed my conversation and that, I will also be contacting [redacted] on your side.Desired Settlement: I would like Tyler's automotive anf [redacted] to take full responsibility for costs of restoring my convertible top to what it was before there intervention.
