We had a [redacted] listed on the Internet at the price of $38,plus tax and license fees At 5:23pm, 09/06/16, our manager reduced the price to $ We discovered early this morning that the price listed on the Internet was actually $3,in error It was determined that our manager made a clerical error when making the change and the "7" was somehow omitted from the price The price was corrected on our website at 8.58am this morning Mr [redacted] inquired about the vehicle online @10:57am this morning He received the attached automated response from us at 10:58am, which displayed the corrected price of $37, We attempted to contact him by phone @11:59am, but he did not answer the call At 11:00am, we responded to his email inquiry with a more detailed message, also attached, explaining the pricing errorWe did not receive a call or further email correspondence from Mr [redacted] At approximately 1:30pm, today, Mr [redacted] appeared in person to further inquire about the vehicle We explained the clerical error regarding the price and apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused While we offered to consider a discount from our asking price, Mr [redacted] declined to accept anything other than $3,Mr [redacted] informed my manager that he didn't brother to call before coming because he felt the price was a mistake and didn't want to miss out on the opportunity if it wasn't As a goodwill gesture, I would be willing to reimburse Mr [redacted] for reasonable travel expenses for his trip to my store. This was either an honest mistake by my manager or a glitch in our website pricing tool and there was absolutely no intent to provide misleading information about the cost of the vehicle While the price was corrected immediately after realizing the issue it can take up to hours for the change to reach all of the vehicle listing sites the at we feed to

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint IF it was indeed an error that was made on your part than you need to take responsibilityI feel like I was baited inAnd seeing how you just tried to claim that you called me and lied about thatAnd that another deal was offered when it was notIt is pretty obvious that you are not being completely honestOnce again it is your responsibility to make this matter rightBetween me and the gentleman that went with me to buy the truck we lost over $in hours missed at work and gasSo even if you were to give us restitution for that it still does not compensate for the price we were givenof why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards,

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused At 5:23pm, 08/06/16, our sales manager repriced the vehicle from $38,to $37,695, however, when doing so he either mistakenly entered the incorrect amount in error or the software program did not record the #in the price as was intended The mistake was realized the following morning and corrected at 8:58am, 06/07/ The email you received to your inquiry was an automated response from a third party to acknowledge your inquiry until one of our sales professionals can actually speak with you Nabeel [redacted] , our salesperson spoke with you by phone shortly after your inquiry and explained the errorWhile we always endeavor to do the right thing for our clients, this was nothing more than a clerical or software error that was corrected as soon as it was realized There was never any intent to falsely advertise or misrepresent the asking price of the vehicle I think it goes without saying that any reasonable person would recognize a listed price of $3,for a vehicle that has a market value of more than $37,was likely a typo, or mistake However, as a gesture of goodwill we would be willing to sell you the vehicle at our wholesale cost of $35,341.67, plus tax, title, and license fees

Mr [redacted] is asking us to sell him a $35,pickup trunk for $3,because of a clerical or computer error listing the sell price online Mr [redacted] was informed immediately of the error and given the correct price when he inquired about the vehicle The pricing error was corrected on our website immediately upon realizing it was wrong We offered to sell the vehicle at our current cost as a good faith showing, to which he declinedWhile this is the first time this has happened at my store, online and printed pricing errors occur from time to time and as long as they are corrected in a timely manner they are not considered or labeled as "Bait and Switch" advertising Mr [redacted] actually acknowledge it was a pricing error in his written correspondence to the Bureau, but expects to capitalize from it We respectively declined Mr [redacted] 's request
