       Our File.                 [redacted]        Claimant:                [redacted]                                      Dear [redacted]    On behalf of J[redacted] - President and CEO and at the direction of [redacted] - Director of Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs, we the Claims Management Team of AdvancePierre Foods are providing the Revdex.com this letter of response in regards to the above captioned matter. Please be advised that the company (AdvancePierre Foods, Inc.) contacted Ms. [redacted] and discussed the matter with her to investigate the incident details, gather important product information and numerical packaging codes so the company could identify the production establishment and immediately implement corrective actions so as to address the issue and prevent recurrence. Upon attempting follow up contact, we learned that Ms. [redacted] does not answer her phone if the inbound call is from an “unknown number” which, through no fault on the company, delayed our ability to resolve the matter. Additionally, Ms. [redacted] did not supply any alternate contact information, such as a mailing address or email address further hindering our ability to make contact with her. Fortunately, I am happy to report that information included in the filing of the Revdex.com complaint, AdvancePierre Foods was able to secure her full contact information and the matter was turned over to Sedgwick Claims Management Services for processing.  Ms. [redacted] was immediately contacted by Sedgwick at the direction of AdvancePierre Foods and a resolution was reached within minutes. It was determined that the distributor of the food product in question, (not AdvancePierre Foods – as the manufacturer of the product) was responsible for dating, stocking and rotating the items as well as guaranteeing same. However, in the spirit of good customer relations, Sedgwick, on behalf of AdvancePierre Foods, reached a settlement with Ms. [redacted]. Accordingly, and due to the unfortunate breakdown in communication, Ms. [redacted] is fully satisfied with our settlement and is withdrawing her Revdex.com complaint.
