The Highlands is a Home Owners Association that had a fire severely damaging multiple apartments in one of their buildings. The building has been condemned due to safety concernsThe HOA doesn’t want to risk anyone’s life and has been advised by local officials, the engineering firm engaged
for the restoration and the insurance carrier to restrict access to these apartmentsNo one is allowed to approach the area and it is fenced off with a locked gate because there are sections of the building that are collapsingThere are multiple apartments which were affected and will need to rebuilt, which has displaced many familiesFairfield Properties manages the Highlands as contracted by the Board of Directors. MrLou P*** was a tenant of a homeowner that owns an apartment at the Highlands. Even though Fairfield has no business or legal relationship with MrP***, we accepted his numerous calls out of compassion for his circumstancesWhen you call Fairfield’s office, the greeting message states that “calls may be recorded for to assure quality customer service”. Since the fire, MrP*** has called multiple times per day threatening, harassing, and cursing at Suz, Cindy, Danielle, Annette and Virginia. MrP***’s lease was terminated by the owner of the Highlands apartment due to the fire that destroyed the building that has been condemned. MrP*** appeared at the property on Friday, July 8th dem***ng access to the apartment he previously occupied. Suffolk County Police escorted him off the propertyWhen you call Fairfield’s office, the greeting message states that “calls may be recorded for to assure quality customer service”. MrP*** appeared at the property on Friday, July *** dem***ng access to the apartment he previously occupied. Suffolk County Police escorted him off the propertyMrW*** spoke with MrP*** in a 20-minute recorded conversation. At the onset of the conversation MrP*** was asked if he understood that the phone conversation was going to be recorded. He acknowledged that he understood. Over the course of the conversation it was politely explained to MrP*** several times that Fairfield is a property management company. Fairfield did not condemn the building nor does Fairfield have the authority to allow anyone into the building. Fairfield has no control over the process. The matter is in the hands of the Highlands insurance company, insurance adjuster, restoration company, and local municipal agencies. This same explanation has been provided multiple times by Fairfield’s staff over the weeks since the fire. Nonetheless, MrP*** continues to berate Fairfield’s staff who have no control over this matter. MrP*** doesn’t seem to want to comprehend the difference and kept stating that Fairfield should let him into the apartment. MrW*** advised MrP*** to cease calling Fairfield’s office threatening, harassing, and cursing at the staff. MrP*** was advised that Fairfield will initiate legal action if he did not stop threatening, harassing, and cursing at Fairfield’s staff. MrP*** was not rational, repeating himself throughout the 20-minute conversation. MrW*** listened to MrP***’s rantings and reiterated several times that he needed to stop calling Fairfield’s office threatening, harassing, and cursing at the staff. Finally, MrP*** hung up to end the recorded conversationPlease note that the HOA Board of Directors is working with all parties to rebuild the demised apartments as quickly as possibleWe hope to have all of the displaced families return to their homes

Tell us why here...Fairfield Properties has
resolved this matter and the refund was issued to the homeownerThe charges
were reflected on the homeowners account and was disputed by the homeowner, upon the sale of her homeOur company prides itself on resolving issues in a
timely manner and
addressed this issue as soon as it was brought to our
attention

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I have not received a refund nor have I been notified I was getting one This issue was definitely not resolved in a "timely manner" because it was brought to their attention on 7/**/ It is now 10/**/ They only responded to me when I stated getting an attorney and when I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com I provided sufficient proof of payments when requested and promptly Promptly meaning a day or after they requested copies of all my payments Fairfield stated they don't make calls about missing payments, so I was never notified that their records were wrong They stated for the years since October my maintenance bills showed a missed payment However, I provided proof that they did not and that my payment was made in October. Finally, this error was completely 100% on their part I understand and tried to be patient because mistakes happen However, when they failed to respond, research and correct the problem I was forced to escalate the issue I can't imagine the amount of money Fairfield has illegally stolen form their residents due to their procrastination In short, I'm still awaiting a refund and even an apology! I have sacrificed work hours, been mental exhausted, suffered defamation of my character at our closing and even insulted when they called me "nasty" in one of their responses They're not professional and definitely do not show any effort to help I maintained a level of calm as any reasonable person could during this whole ordeal Lastly, I appreciate the support of the Revdex.com Especially, since you were able to get any kind of response from Fairfield.
