We would also point out, the contract [redacted] signed states, "Pawnbroker is not liable for loss or damage caused by an Act of God,burglary, theft, robbery, fire, typical wear and deterioration from handling and storage or other unforeseen casualty".A summary of our position is below:On 7/27/15, [redacted] obtained a pawn loan for $2,750.00 (loan number [redacted]). Included in the items provided in the collateral for the loan were three (3) [redacted] purses. As described in the contract, a copy of which was provided to [redacted] on 7/27/15, there were no dust bagsor boxes with the purses. For the purposes of the loan, the purses were valued at $1,450.00. The items were wrapped, tagged, and placed in our loan storage area.[redacted] failed to make her required finance charge payments on 10/27/15. Under the terms of the contract, which [redacted] signed on 7/27/15, on the fifteenth day after 10/27/15 the pledged property was, “automatically forfeited to the Pawnbroker. "The items were subsequently displayed for sale.On 12/12/16 we accepted a partial payment of past due finance charges from [redacted] and re-activated her loan. The items were removed from display, wrapped again, and returned to our loan storage area.On three occasions (3/5/16; 3/11/16 and 3/16/16), [redacted] made partial principal paymentsreducing the principal amount of the loan to $558.00 and the loan value of the three purses to $294.27.On 3/19/16, [redacted] redeemed loan [redacted]. At the time she redeemed her items, she stated that she believed the purses had been in boxes. She was told, at that time, that if they had been in boxes the description on the contract would have indicated that.To reiterate, it is our position that if the purses [redacted] provided as partial collateral for loan [redacted] had been in boxes the contract [redacted] signed would have indicated that. Therefore, there were no boxes for our company to have lost or withheld.

I am rejecting this response because: these are flat out lies and I will be filing a police report against that Nancy D[redacted] (spelling) who I met with on July 27, 2015.  I have pictures of my bags and the marks on the bags that were not on there.  Also,, they never wrapped my bags...had they done so there would have been no marks.  When I went to retrieve my bags they were not wrapped and were never wrapped.   Also, when I obtained  the loan it would seem that they would have indicated damage on the pawn ticket.  I have no reason so lie about this and they have every reason to lie.  These people are ciminals!I am awaiting word from the Virginia State Attorney before I file my criminal complaint.  A polygraph would indicate that Nancy and Tysons Watch  Co. are lying.!!
