I checked my 2009 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle in for an oil change and a break check to a mechanic that goes by the name [redacted] I was later informed that his legal name is [redacted] (or [redacted] - unsure) [redacted] The personal contact # I was given for [redacted] is: [redacted]I'm filing this complain for the following reasons:(1) My front blinkers worked fine when I brought the bike in. However, I laid my bike down in a parking lot on the LEFT side and cracked the plastic around the blinker. [redacted] offered to replace them as a courtesy at no additional charge. He replaced them with LED blinks, told me multiple times they were working, but they just light up solid. My original blinkers were not returned to me.(2) I was told that [redacted] is not a licensed motorcycle mechanic by other employees(3) Inspection of the RIGHT side shows strong evidence that he obviously laid the bike down. There are scratches on the muffler & right body panel, the right panel is cracked around the right blinker, and the right rear break pedal is bent upwards. (4) The invoice states that my rotors and breaks were replaced, but all of the cost is listed as labor (I strongly doubt the rotors were actually replaced - I believed they were buffed)(5) Other mechanics at the shop told me he was joy riding my bike (their words) - aka excessive test driving.(6) The first time I came to pickup my bike, I was stopped by a different mechanic that told me he didn't think the license plate on it was mine. When I brought this to [redacted]'s attention he said my plate had fallen of while he was test driving it so he put a different one on. He went on to explain how it was fine that I drive my motorcycle around with a license plate that is registered to someone else. I of course didn't do that and purchased a replacement.(7) There are several missing screws(8) There is excessive "popping" from the muffler that did not exist prior to the repairs. In summary, I was lied to and my bike was returned to me with damages that I didn't cause.
