Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We were told multiple times that the budget numbers were hard numbers and that UBuildIt would hold contractors to those numbers We were told multiple times that UBbuildIt contractors are screened and vetted and do good work We were told multiple times that UBuildIt will inspect work and make sure it is done properly In or experience none of those things were true The delays and poor workmanship cost us thousands of dollars and we still have problems in workmanship that will have to be corrected at our expense UBuildIt has been made aware of problems and still refuses to make it right Sincerely, [redacted]

I had a budget meeting
with *** and *** last ThursdayDespite my frustration last week, both *** and *** were very professional during the meetingThey put forth effort to get quotes in that I didn't have in my binder to get a handle on where we are on this budget
The lumber and framing was the area where we had our worst overageDuring the meeting on Thursday, we learned that $of this was due to a calculation error by Pro-build, which is great news for the budgetWe are still over in this area and a few others, but between other line items that are under, and my willingness to take on some of the work myself (electrical, flooring) I should be able to make up for this and avoid financial ruin
I appreciate the professionalism of *** and *** and the work they put in before I came in to comb through the budgetI haven't received ***'s break down of each line item yet so I'm not sure how it will all shake out, but it looks like we can make it work if I'm willing to take on a few tasks (which I am willing to do)
Early last week, I filed a Revdex.com complaint against UBI due to the overages in the budgetI think mistakes were made in the budget, but *** and *** have worked on my side to overcome this and come up with a solutionI was also fueled to file the complaint by your reaction to the situation when I called youI do not appreciate being talked to in that manner, but for me, it's offset by your team's willingness to salvage my projectIn summary, I do not wish to publicly complain about UBI based on what has happened so farMistakes happen, but *** and *** are working with me on them

The process UBuildIt utilizes coupled with their in-depth knowledge of local subcontractors was excellent. They make it possible for anyone who wishes to build their own home to do so. The finished product speaks volumes about the service they offer.
