Review: Have had several issues trying to pay bill and was wrongly put into collections. UC Physicians did not bill my insurance and sent the full bill to the wrong address. After getting a call from a collection agency and speaking with UC Billing I was told that the bill would be removed from collections, billed to my insurance and then the final bill would be sent to my correct address. Several weeks went by and I reached out to see when/if this new bill was coming. I was told they had nothing on record. Then, I was contacted again by a collections agency; my insurance had been billed and there was a small balance that had remained. I was not sent a bill from the hospital to reflect the balance to be paid. My call to UC Physicians billing on 12/31 had little resolve. First I was told that I had no balance. Then, after being placed on hold I was told that there was a balance, but that it was with the collection agency and they had not removed bill from collections as I was told in October. It has been several months, and hours on the phone trying to get resolve to this and it appears that nobody has a clear sense of what is going on.Desired Settlement: Remove me from collections with a letter of confirmation. And, after paying the bill I would like a statement reflecting a zero balance so that I have proof that this fiasco is over. And, honestly, at this point they should consider apologizing for how everything has been handled.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I sustained a non-emergency injury and called the office to schedule a visit to have it evaluated. I could not be seen that day or make an appointment for a visit on a subsequent day. I was told to call back at 8:00 am the next day to make an appointment. When a morning meeting prevented a call before 8:30 there were no appointments available and again I couldn't schedule one for the following day. The time I need a doctor, none is available. What is the point of maintaining any continuity of care when you can't be seen? I am very disappointed in whatever office management strategy prevents an injured patient from even scheduling an appointment.
