Review: Ordered a part. Paid 65% down and the other 35% before shipment. The invoice total $5250.00. Never received part after 1 year.

On 10/31/2012 we received a quote to have a blend auger assembly made. The quote stated a total of $5,250.00 with 65% ($3,412.50) to be paid at acceptance of proposal and 35% ($1,837.50) due at time of shipment. The quote states shipment to be made within 30 days of confirmed order. We mailed a check on 01/11/2013 for the 65% down. On 2/28/2013 they called requesting the remaining 35% of the amount because they were getting ready for shipment. We sent the check out on the same day. As of 09/03/2013 we have not received the part. We've made numerous calls and sent a letter on July 12, 2013 requesting a refund due to the fact we had to purchase parts elsewhere to continue our work. He called us after receiving the letter stating he had health issues and cancer and that the part had not been finished. He still has not called or sent the product since July 2013. Desired Settlement: Seeking refund in the amount of $5,250.00 which is the total we paid.
