Back in May 2016, we were contracted to sand and finish wooden floors of MrM [redacted] s home and do a minor repair on flooringWe went in and did what we where contracted to doWe applied Traffic finish on floor as it has a stronger finish and is used on heavy traffic placesWe did as contracted If finish did not hold up as stated we should reach out to manufacturer.?

I cannot contact the manufacturer about the product that the contractor allegedly used on my floor because I have no proof that the contractor actually used that product Based on the performance of the product the contractor used, I believe it is likely that he used a cheap product and simply charged me for this "premium" product Understandably, my wife and I vacated the house when the floors were being sanded and finished due to the fumes of the finish so I cannot state what product was put on each floor that was finished Based on what I see on the kitchen floor after months I believe I will have to get the floors finished again within a month It is also relevant to add that this contractor is often unavailable for weeks at a time When I say "unavailable" I mean that calls to his office in which I speak with his assistant or office manager are met with statements such as "he isn't reachable for X number of days Not that he is busy now or will get back to you He is unreachable for days or weeks at a time He cannot even be reached by phone
