Regarding
customers complaint:
Mr***
has been a customer of (***) of U Need Gutters since and
he is very concerned with the complaints that Mrand Mrs***'s are
having regarding the punch list*** has been corresponding with the ***'s
to resolve any
issues or concerns that need to be addressed regarding
the punch list. It is (*** U Need Gutters general Policy
to address the punch list in a timely matter and generally in one day in most cases,
but in this case there has been too many discrepancies and has put a
delay on taking care of the list.
The project
was completed on the *** and the last installment from
the Homeowners was on the 9th; at the point *** was under the expression
that the Homeowners were satisfied with the ending project. U Need
Gutters Technicians were at the ***'s on Saturday 13th to address any issues
or concerns the ***'s might have had at that time; in
saying that Mr*** refused to make a punch resulting in
rescheduling our Technicians for another day

Need Gutters was not made aware of the complaint regarding the
pavers until 9/14/(complaint made by Mr***) once he
was made aware of the complaint *** instantly replied to Mr*** that
he and U Need Gutters stand by his and his Technicians work and he would
be happy take care of it immediately but Mr*** refused to let *** correct any problems regarding the pavers
On 9/14/
Mr*** informed *** that another contractor had been contacted in regards
to pricing the issues regarding the pavers an area approximately 6x6. *** replied requesting that their Contractor contact him and he would
make sure the pavers were taken care of. U Need Gutters sent a stone
Contractor out to the ***'s on the 9/24/and were waiting for the ***'s
contractor to contact *** with his findings It was not until
Friday 10/3/the ***'s Contractor made contact with ***
U Need
Gutters has been and is currently corresponding with the ***'s to
schedule *** and our Technicians to go to the property and address all issues
on the list

I would like to clarify the responses of the company by saying the owner, [redacted] has not called me or made any attempts to reach me to correct these issuesPhone calls are not accepted and my communication comes from his live in girlfriend, [redacted] the Office Administrator/Manger and the Technicians [redacted] and [redacted] Another correction to their statement was that on 9/13/the Technicaians did come over to start on the punch list. So the punch list was already in the hands of the UNeedGuttersWhen they arrived, they came without paint brushes, stain, paint, and brown chalkingFor this reason nothing was completed this day which caused another reschedulingThe third statement the company has made is also a lieI stopped the job once while the pavors were being made and made them redo itAt this time I questioned [redacted] and his knowledge of pavorsAfter this, is when he began an attitude with me through text and refuses to call meWhen [redacted] came over to get his check I informed him the pavors looked very bad[redacted] said he would bring his guys back out and correct the pavors and then quoted his slogan, no problems only solutionsSo [redacted] knew on 9/7/about the unsatisfactory work on the pavors.[redacted] had asked me to contact the original contractor that placed the existing pavors to get a price from him. The contractor didn't contact me until 10/3/and [redacted] had a stone contractor come out on 9/24/Both men were horrified by the completion of this jobBoth explained that all the pavors needed to be redone because the concrete used on the job reruined the pavor and acid tone can not be used along with the cuts on the pavor were incorrectI was listening when the contractor called [redacted] and explained to him the situation[redacted] said he was not going to eat it, meaning he was not going to pay to correct the job that the homeowner would pay for it.On 10/17/2014, UNeedGutters showed up to fix defects in the
patio cover that was completed over a month againThe electrical was corrected
by grounding a wire and the toustain was put on the cedar but the cedar
still shows that it needs stained between the gabsThe weather strip on the door was
replaced but now the door doesn't shutThe door can be pushed opened unless
the deadbolt is lockedThe lag screw that went from
outside to inside my bedroom was unscrewed and placed washers over top to
prevent it from coming throughThe hole was just pushed in to make it appear
it was taken care of The brown chalking
that was placed between the cedar posts was not done correctlyI have
requested the owner come over because there seems to be a break down in the
communication as to what needs to be done hereAs the company knows, I am a
disabled veteran and I have issues moving aroundI cannot be outside pointing
out what needs to be correctedFor this reason, to stop any friction between
your technicians and me the homeowner, I want to direct everything to [redacted]
The issue with the
pavors is still under construction with no date as to when it will be
correctedThe "technician" said he would be over here next week with the
owner, [redacted], to install themThis is confusing because they didn't know how to
install the pavors to begin with and had masons come over to give them a quote
to correct. As a disabled veteran, I am limited on the things
I can do or I would be able to do little things like touch up painting
What can be done is to get a professional to finish the pavors correctly, not try to do it the cheap way to appear correctedThe price that was quoted to [redacted] for correcting was $

Response to complaint:  U Need Gutters & More is and has been cooperating with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] Our Technicians have been and were scheduled to take care of the  items on the punch list several times and some items on the list were corrected,  but our Technicians were not able to get the corrected items checked off by Mr[redacted]  In moving forward the Owner of U Need Gutters & More will personally be taking care of the items on the list. The Owner has  met with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] on 10/24/14 to discuss any issues that they may currently have. He is currently scheduled 10/30/14 to began working on those issues and do his best to correct them.U Need Gutters & More has an excellent reputation for Customer Satisfaction.  Our Customers are very important to us and our business; a good majority of our business comes from Customer's referrals.  The owner of U Need Gutters & More will continue to work with the [redacted] and do his best to get customer satisfaction. Thank You,U Need Gutters & More[redacted]Office Administrator

Review: After signing an agreement with the owner, [redacted], of U Need Gutters the work began on a patio extension. The job has not been completed but has been payed for. The pavors on the ground are ruined with concrete, cut incorrectly, not leveled, and just not put in together. The workers agreed that didn't know how to install them but they read instructions from the web and know how to do it now. [redacted] has been called many times over the last 3 weeks to resolve this issue. [redacted] had a [redacted] contractor come over to look at the job. He had said this job was a mess and could tell the installation was the first for [redacted]'s crew. This was over a week ago.

The next issue was the electric. I switch was installed and anytime I turn that switch on, sparks fly out and the breaker blows. I asked them to fix this and no one has came out as well. Again everything is documented and printed out from phone calls and emails.

Upon exiting the job I gave [redacted] a list of things that needed to be corrected like touch up paint, stain, nails in the roof and a broken fence. When addressing the issue with the owner, [redacted], I did get an angry text message from him calling me stupid.

I have since this contacted [redacted] trying to speak respectfully to him. After many emails and phone calls, I have not seen anyone out to fix the issues. I have contacted another contractor to get a price on the pavors to fix. He has said it would cost $3100 to correct.Desired Settlement: This has went on to long now. I want the project finished or refund me the $3100 so I can get someone to fix the job that I have already paid for.

Review: Employed "U NEED GUTTERS & MORE" 11/05/to install new gutters from attached breeze way, around patio cover, garage, and opposite side of breezewayAfter calling their office for repairs(minimim of times over a 1/year period), I have finally given upI have made the repairs myself and don't believe he ever had intentions of doing the repairsHe had a long warranty on his work, but it seems to be lip serviceI won't do business with them, because of never receiving a call/leaving a message to even attempt to do the repairsBeware of this companyNo recommendation here.Desired Settlement: $for restitution sent to my address for making the repairs, unnecesary time spent on this company contact and resolutionAlso, the frustration of the owner not abiding by his contract
