We were contracted to replace the customers roof and did so May of The customer asked us to help him when we were going to be onsite to tack up a piece of siding that had fallen We agreed and did not charge him for the courtesy.Approximately months later, we were notified by the customer that the same piece of siding had fallen off again We told the customer that we would stop by the next time in the area Although it had been several months later, we did have one of our workers stop by The piece of siding was noted to be broken and very dirty from sitting in the grass The customer agreed that a new piece of siding would be better suited then re-using the existing piece Unfortunately, that worker was let go before he could source a new piece We sent a different worker out and he took pictures of the siding He went to a siding store located in [redacted] and they said we needed to bring a piece to better match it This same worker, when in the area, stopped by two more times and was unable to locate the piece nor make contact with the homeowner as no one was home each time he visited As the owner of the company, I too stopped by several times over the months to also find no one home With time, it did slip out of our radar We apologies for that We did make numerous attempts to assist with this one piece of siding that was never part of our scope of work in replacing the roof

We are in the process of resolving the complaint and will update when resolution is accomplished

We have met with the customer and let them know it will be completed We have met with our subcontractor and he understands the necessity to complete it correctly and in a timely manner.The work is about 75% complete We will continue to be diligent on getting it done
