Review: On June 2nd I put down $500.00 toward a Nissan Altima. I had the car for 11 days when I was informed their lender backed out of the loan. I gave them the car back right away and am currently working on doing what I need to do to rectify the situation that caused the loan to be cancelled (suspended license from an accident in Feb 2014). When I went back to them to request the 500.00 back I was ultimately told that I would only be able to get half of it back in the amount of $250.00 for the 2 weeks that I had the car. I said actually I had the car for 11 days and that $250.00 was more than a car payment which was set up for every 2 weeks. My car payments were $187.00 every 2 weeks. So I told them I would be willing to prorate one car payment for the time I did have the car and that would total $147.00 so they owed me $353.00. I was told I would have to speak with the owner, [redacted]. I called several times a week during different times of the day and was always told that he was not there. I left a message with my information for him to call me and he never gave me a call. I finally picked up a check from them for $250.00 on 7/9/2014 but they still owe me $103.00. I will never do business with them again and don't think they are very honorable. They were willing to put the entire $500.00 toward a new car if I was able to purchase a new car once I get my license situation taken care of. So why couldn't they give me the entire $500.00 cash back since the loan fell through? Or at the very least do what is fair and prorate one 2 week car payment as I suggested? Funny how he was available to write the check on July 8th for me but I couldn't get him on the phone or get him to call me back.Desired Settlement: I would like at least $103.00 refunded to me for the down payment, If not the rest of the $250.00.
This is a response to the complaint made by [redacted] against our refund policy.

I contacted them due to my warrenty I paid for and for only having it such a short period of time. after calling them multiple times and talking to many people I was then told they wouldnt fix my car or help pay for it to be fixed. when I got my warrenty I was told my electrical system would be covered.Desired Settlement: my truck fixed or a replacement of equal or greater vaule
[redacted] purchased a 2004 Buick Rainer on 02/15/2012 with a limited extended Service Contract that was explained and acknowledged by the customer with his signature. This is the first that I have heard from the customer since he picked up his memo title. We actually do not have any interest in the vehicle any longer because his finance company, Westlake Financial now owns this loan. If the customer would like to take advantage of discounted repairs on electrical work since we do not have a Service Department to handle electrical problems we can refer him to Wired Right @ 22350 Lorain Road Cleveland, OH 44126 440) 734-3838.
