Review: My car was sent here for repairs from the scene of an auto accident that occurred on May 12, 2014.There was an issue with my auto insurance company actually performing their duties, and my car sat in the garage for 10 days. Nobody from the shop OR my insurance company ever followed up with me. I followed up with my Geico insurance adjuster, and ultimately, a different adjuster ended up looking at my car on May 22, 2014. I called the garage to follow up a couple of days after that, and was assured that parts were being ordered and repairs would begin.The entire time my car was in this shop, I probably received three calls from the shop. I made dozens of calls to the shop to inquire about the status of my car. Almost every time, there was an excuse about needing a couple more days for a part, or for this or that. Meanwhile, I reached my policy max for car rental through my insurance company, and although I explained the situation to Geico, they only granted me a three day extension on a car rental. I turned the rental in on June 12, and US Auto Connection STILL had my car, and the person handling my account there, Buddy, led me to believe that there were just a few days of repairs left until I got my car back. When I STILL didn't have a car--and after I LOST a job due to a lack of reliable transportation--I called and asked them to make it right, since it was by then over a month since the initial insurance adjustment. I spoke with the shop owner, [redacted] and it was agreed that they would handle my rental by having it charged to them, since they have an account with Enterprise. I finally got my car back on June 28, and my credit card has been billed $319.42 for a rental they were supposed to handle and they're slow to actually fix anything. This entire nightmare is bleeding my money, and they won't do what they agreed to do.Desired Settlement: I want my $319.42 back, since the owner, [redacted], and my case handler[redacted], both agreed that the shop would be responsible for my second car rental.

ABOUT A WEEK LATER SHE CALLED AND SAID ENTERPRISE HIT HER CARD FOR THREE HUNDRED PLUS DOLLARS......I THINK IT WAS A WED OR THURS...I TOLD I NEEDED TO CALL ENTERPRISE AND I WOULD GET BACK WITH HER ..THE NEXT DAY THE COMPLAINT WAS POSTED WITH THE Revdex.com .....A CHECK WAS ISSUED TO THE OWNER AND SHE PICKED IT UP.... I was contacted by the business the day after I filed the complaint, and was subsequently issued the refund that I requested.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.

Review: First my service guy [redacted] is nice and this is not his doing. Car was rear ended a while back. Took it to them to repair because they did nice work before. While there I had them replace the grill at the front at my own expense. 2 years later grill silver overlay is melting off the grill. They offer a lifetime guarantee supposedly but the owner wants me to pay the [redacted] for a new grill because it came from [redacted]. Hmm seems to me that you should honor your guarantee and if there are issues with parts take them up with [redacted] -not try to get me to pay. Oh and it took 4 trips to them before they told me that I was going to have to pay. I told give me my keys and left. I think a guarantee is a guarantee and if they have issues with [redacted] that is for them to handle as part of their business not put it off on me. I should have never had to hear anything about it. If it had been an alternator would they have asked me to pay for it instead of [redacted] or who ever made it. The above shows their true colors- why would I want to have them touch my car again. I can and will afford to have someone else do things the right way. [redacted] will be ordering the part today and installing it upon arrival at my costs. You asked for a copy of the warranty. This takes you to their link which shows that they have a lifetime warranty like most reputable repair places do ... and on top of that [redacted] only works with shops that do offer it.

Review: On March 7, I was involved in a T-bone collision nearly a mile away from US Auto Connection. My tow truck driver had referred me to this repair shop. I dropped off my 2013 Volkswagen Beetle & [redacted] the manager of the garage, looked over all the damages with me. He estimated that the repairs should not take long and that he will take care of me, as I would expect any body shop to say. A couple weeks in, approx around March 21, 2014, I noticed [redacted] inconsistencies with replying to my voicemails and returning my calls. After the first month, I started to become impatient for I was not receiving any phone calls regarding the progress of the repairs, any other damages that were not visible at the time of the accident, etc. Throughout the entire month of April, days would pass without a phone call from [redacted]. I called 3 times on the week of April 6, only to be told the same exact thing, each and every time. I called twice on the week of April 20, and all he kept telling me was, "were working on it. There are cars in front of you, and when he gets time, he will continue to repair the damages." I left to go out of town May 2 - May 12. I informed [redacted] of this and I was told that my car will be ready and waiting for me when I return home. Upon arriving back home, I gave [redacted] a call & was told that my car is not ready & it will take another week, which would have been May 20. On the day of May 20, I called [redacted] & was told that it was going to be again, another week. He couldn't give me a reason why. Everytime I asked, he would choke on his words. I was promised on June 18, I would have my fixed car back in my possession. The day of the 18th, I called him to check up and was told that he just realized my airbag had deployed and that he would need to order parts in to repair it. He has had my car for ALMOST 4 MONTHS!!!!! How can anyone overlook that kind of damage to a car when it's been in their garage that long? It is now going on the 21st of June. He is no longer accepting my calls. Please helpDesired Settlement: I would like to have my car back as soon as possible. It has been nearly 4 months and due to [redacted] incompetence, I'm worried I will not have it returned to me in a timely manner before I move, which is in under a month.

ON OR AROUND 3/7/2014 A 2013 VW BETTLE WAS TOWED TO US AUTO CONNECTION ..THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED ON THE RIGHT SIDE ..THE OWNER WAS VERY UPSET ...SHE DID NOT HAVE INSURANCE COVERAGE ...AND HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO...AT THAT POINT MOST REPAIR SHOPS WOULD HAVE PUT HER VEHICLE IN STORAGE AND WISHED HER GOOD LUCK... I TOLD THE YOUNG LADY NOT WORRY HER VEHICLE COULD BE REPAIRED...AFTER I LOOKED IT OVER I TOLD HER 5500 TO 6500 IF WE COULD FIND USED PARTS / AFTER MARKET PARTS....SHE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE TO MOVE HER VEHICLE SOMEWHERE UNTIL SHE COULD DECIDE WHAT TO DO/ HOW TO GET THE MONEY ETC....I TOLD HER SHE COULD LEAVE IT WITH US I WOULD NOT CHARGE HER STORAGE.....I THINK A COUPLE OF WEEKS HAD PASSED WHEN SHE CALLED AND OK'ED THE REPAIRS ....I TOLD HER WE HAD A NUMBER OF VEHICLES IN FRONT OF HERS AND THAT OUR COMMITMENTS TO OUR INSURANCE PARTNERS WOULD HAVE TO COME FIRST ( WE ARE ON A TIME CLOCK FOR REPAIRS, THE VOLUME OF WORK DEPENDS ON CYCLE TIME)...WE TOOK A WHILE TRYING TO FIND LKQ PARTS (TO HELP KEEP COST DOWN) WE DIDN'T HAVE MUCH MOVEMENT ON THE VEHICLE THE LATTER PART OF MARCH OR THE MONTH OF APRIL...WE WERE ABLE TO REALLY GET STARTED IN MAY AND IT LOOKED LIKE WE WOULD GET A LONG WAY TOWARDS COMPLETION...BUT THEN IT WAS DISCOVERED THE AIR BAGS, SEAT BELTS AND CONTROL UNIT HAD NOT BEEN ORDERED (I THOUGHT PARTS HAD ORDERED AND PARTS THOUGHT I HAD....I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE YOUNG LADY MANY TIMES IN THE PAST 2-3 WEEKS AND I AM HAPPY TO SAY HER VW WILL BE READY WED THE 2ND.
