[redacted]   Revdex.com-      Please be advised that we have repaired the [redacted]’s vehicle at no charge to them. While the part required to complete the repair has nothing to do with the recall work that we did, I can understand...

why the customer would hold us responsible. So we covered the cost of the part. To the best of my knowledge they are now satisfied. [redacted] General Manager Cross Chrysler Jeep

Revdex.com:I have picked up my vehicle today to only have even more issues once again then I took in the vehicle for. I took in for two check engines lights and exhaust leak. The exhaust is still leaking and the check engines light now has 5 alerts. This device department is intensively damaging the vehicle during service to get more money out of consumers. This has to stop. The vehicle has high mileage but only been services by this dealership and brought in there eventide with issues tI only leave with more than coming on wits. I understand this is a pay review company and the dealership pats to belong to the Revdex.com. But this has to stop this company is practicing bad business practices and scamming consumers.

Ms. [redacted] has experienced a number of issues with this vehicle and for that I am truly sorry. And it does appear that over the years we have made some mistakes in our handling of the service work she has requested. The Jeep is a 2007 with 193,000 miles on it and we all know...

that high mileage vehicles are subject to issues. She had the truck towed to us because it was running poorly and had a flashing check engine light, indicating it was not safe to drive. One of the injectors had failed and needed to be replaced. While the mechanic was working on it he noticed that the intake manifold was leaking anti-freeze. Our advised contacted Ms. [redacted] and she approved repairs to the injector and the replacement of the intake gasket. Ms. [redacted] indicates that she asked our advisor if the gasket replacement would correct her exhaust leak and she says that the advisor said that it would. Our advisor has no recollection of that part of the conversation and there was nothing on the repair request about an exhaust leak. When the [redacted]'s came to pick up the Jeep the check engine light was on but not flashing and the vehicle was running normally. Our tech says that he does not think that the light was on when he parked the vehicle but was not sure. Many vehicles with high miles have check engine lights on. We checked the Jeep and found that it needed two oxygen sensors which may or may not have been damaged by the failed injector. We felt bad about the situation and offered to install the sensors for no charge if she would buy the parts. She though our parts were too high and took her car. I contacted her and agreed to install the aftermarket sensors she had purchased at no charge and to check out the exhaust leak she was bringing up now. She brought the vehicle in and brought the sensors and an exhaust manifold. She already what was causing the exhaust leak but evidently interpreted my offer to mean that we would install her manifold for nothing. To make her happy we probably would have done that but unfortunately one of her manifold bolts had broken off in the head and would not come out. Our tech worked on it for some time trying to get it out but eventually we had to remove the head and send it to a machine shop to have the bolt removed and replaced. The removal and replacement of the head would normally cost $1000 to $1200 but we offered to do it for $700. She was upset so we agreed to do it for $350 and she still thinks we are being dishonest. Since she seemed to know that she had a broken exhaust manifold I am not sure how she could have thought that the intake manifold gasket was going to repair the exhaust leak. Regardless, I feel that we have been more than fair with her. The real problem that she has a high mileage vehicle that is giving her a lot of problems.

Please be advised that Mr. [redacted] purchased a 2007 Denali with 135000 miles on it. At the time of purchase we advised him that the vehicle was being sold “as-is” and that based on the age and mileage that we could not guarantee it in any way. Attached please find documentation of...

his acknowledgement of the terms of the sale.  I regret that he has experienced the problems he has with the truck but nothing that has happened to it was occurring when he bought it  nor could it  have been foreseen in the safety inspection it received. The vehicle did appear to be in excellent condition cosmetically  and the previous owner of the Denali is a technician in our service department. He has assured me that to the best of his knowledge there was nothing wrong with it at the time it was traded.   In addition, the first notice that we received of any of these problems occurred today when Mr. [redacted] posted negative reviews on the internet and filed this complaint with you. Had he chosen to contact us first to ask for assistance rather than accusing us of negative business practices we would have been much more inclined to assist him. We run a reputable business and only retail vehicles that appear to be in good condition. Unfortunately, no one can guarantee an 8 year old car with high miles. If he would like to trade for a different vehicle we will do whatever we can to help him find something else. [redacted] General Manager

The repairs started in October not November then was repaired again in the month of November I don't feel the current issues are customer pay issues since these current issues were not an issue when dropped off but seem to magically appeared while the worked on the vehicle 2 separate times I contacted my finance company and advised them what the dealer had done and I was not going to pay for it as it sit they contacted dealer and was told no way they caused the issues and sent my finance company copies of the repair tickets and mileage the finance company owns the vehicle til I pay it off I will not pay for it as it sits we are going to seek legal council if the repairs are not fixed and repaired back to condition van was delivered to them originally minus the tick that was a warranty issue I can and have no issue paying for the van if it is back to the condition it should be in (Running smooth no tick) yes the finance company will have a repo company come get it and evaluate what they want to do I will take the keys to dealer this afternoon so they can reevaluate but I am sure they will claim as they always are they made no mistakes and I need to cough up $700 plus for repairs they messed up. Its pretty obvious they will not own up to their faults in this.

Revdex.com- [redacted] our Service Manager, has spoken with the customer and they have worked out an arrangement to cover the bill.  The customer has agreed to pay for the part that has failed and we have agreed to install it at no charge. While I understand her concern that the issue is similar to...

what we repaired previously, it has been several months since that repair and the problem now is a part that we did not replace on the other repairs. Regardless, we have reached a compromise to settle the matter.[redacted]General ManagerCross Chrysler Jeep

[redacted]Subject: Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted]

Ms. [redacted]- I would like to settle this matter and I am prepared to offer your father a goodwill refund of $773.10. This represents what he paid for the drive shaft replacement...

that I feel [redacted] should not have sold him based on his email. This part was damaged and needed to be replaced but did not present an immediate threat to disable the vehicle as the other problems did. We could debate the rest of the repair order forever and I doubt that we would ever reach an agreement. This payment offer is contingent upon your agreement that it is a goodwill offer and not an admission of any misconduct on our part. Please let me know your intention by Friday January 30. After that date I will close the case with the Revdex.com  without a refund.
