our letters are sent to someone with the same or similar name as the Defendant,
which is why our letter states if you are not the defendant to disregard the
letter.  Sometimes people are not aware they are being sued, so we also
encourage them to call our office to confirm we have the correct defendant.
In this situation, Ms. [redacted] received a letter that was meant for someone with the same name. We apologize for any inconvenience, but again our law
firm is only attempting to assist those who are in need of our services and our
letter was not meant to intimidate Ms. [redacted].  We hope this clarifies why she received the letter and she can be assured that only one letter is sent to the Defendant, so she will not be receiving any other

case number referenced in the letter is a pending court case in the Orange
County Superior Court against a defendant with the same name and it appears the notice was sent
to Mr. [redacted] in error.  We apologize for any confusion or concern our
