Restock fee is excessive. I was directed to order the product early due to Covid. I have discovered I can't use the product and can't return product
I started a project to renovate my basement then as the covid pandemic started to affect business I was directed by my CoreTec Rep to order ASAP or it could be months before we get product. Because of this fear I order CoreTec Plus Enhanced from my local . The product was delivered to the *** warehouse and has been there ever since. As the Basement renovation continued we discovered water issues in the basement floor and were told by multiple floor installers not to install the CoreTec product because of the moisture level in my concrete is at 99% RH. This left me with 1100 sq feet of CoreTec product. I have contacted my *** to return the product and was shocked to find that I was being charged nearly 1000 to return the product. This is a product I only ordered because I was under pressure from the Rep to order ASAP.
This 25% restocking fee is excessive especially for a product that has not been taken off the pallet nor have any boxes been opened or delivered to my job site. I am being told that these fees are imposed by CoreTec/USFloors and not my local . I understand needing to send the product back is partly my fault because I did order it yet I would not have ordered it so soon in my project if I wasn't directed by the CoreTec Rep. Now I am stuck with 1100 sq feet of product to either sell myself if I take delivery of it or lose a 1000 dollars to send it back.
I have talked to the CoreTec Rep and he stated that there is nothing he can do and nothing that CoreTec/USFloors can do. I just can't believe that.

Desired Outcome

I would like for USFloors to waive the restocking fee in this case because of the pressure to order swiftly due to Covid. Another option would be to credit the restocking fee to my local *** so that I can get a product that will work in my situation.

In order to look into this further, please provide the retailer's information so we can find them in the system and also the details of your purchase with them (style, color, quantity, and date of purchase).

Mr.,
We have reviewed your request and due to the circumstances we have agreed to waive the restocking fee for the return of this material. We will only charge the return freight which will be less than $100.00. I have already reached out to your flooring store advising them we have agreed to waive the 25% restocking fee so they will be aware as well. Please get with your flooring store to complete your return.

Thank you to USFloors/Cortec and my local *** for working with me on this issue. I have been completely satisfied with this response and action.

CoreTec color Doral Walnut could not be sourced, still needed 1,000 sq feet to cover home-attempted Shasta Oak-not same. We can't use $1k as credit.
Pro source Sales Rep *** lied to me on 3/9/20 saying IF restocking fees occurred he would work with Rep to have all waived. Now we are finding that *** said this just to make the sale $3108 (vinyl flooring). Prosource is now refusing to refund our $1k saying for restocking fees. They are stating that CoreTec will not waive for them - therefore they are charging us OR we can use $1k for purchase toward a different product- however CoreTec/USFloors alleges it can NOT locate any Doral Walnut vinyl planks and that's all we can use to perfectly match floors.

Please help! Either credit the $1K to ProSource or locate 1,000 square feet of Doral Walnut.

Shaw has reviewed your claim and the restocking charges will be waived on the return.

I ordered flooring through *** in *** and us floors gave away my order causing huge nconvenience and have not tried to help
I purchased resista u20 flooring for home remodel through . When my contractor went to pick up order to install we learned that my materials were not available. We heard many stories from both *** (store manager ) and the us floors rep (). First we were told there was a fore and the flooring was damaged. Next we were told the flooring disappeared and not sure what happened. Next we were told that they gave e away my order from reserved to another person. In the end, I did not get my flooring. They were able to give half bit my remodel which was supposed to be completed on 2/10/20 is still not done and I still do not have my flooring. *** and *** have passed me back and forth and have not followed up for 2 weeks on how they will help me. This has caused by family to live with no appliances in the kitchen for 2 extra weeks. I have had to move washers and dryersin and out of my house to do laundry whole I wait. *** and *** promised to follow up with me and help take care of me as a customer. I have learned I may get my floors in the next week but that was from me pushing for updates. I feel like they are avoiding my situation and not being helpful at all.

Desired Outcome

I want us floors to provide my floors so my contractor can install them. I feel I should also be compensated in some way for the inconvenience of living off my screen porch and for having to move appliances in and out of my house to wash clothes for 2 weeks longer than e expected due to them giving away my flooring that was reserved for me.

Shaw's customer service group is working on this and with the Shaw/US Floor rep, , to have a resolution in place soon.

US Floors Warranty requires the retailer to file the claim. The retailer will not assist in doing so. Purchased SmartCore Floors in April 2017. The product appears to be defective. The warrant document in the package requires the retailer to file the claim. *** is the retailer and will not assist me or return any calls relative to the warranty claim. It has been over a month of attempts to contact .

Desired Outcome

Replace all or refund materials and labor.
