U S Foundation Repair Reviews (4)

Review: I hired US Foundation to do work at my residence. In doing so they knicked my [redacted] Electric line. After paying 4600.00 for foundation work, I was then having to pay 6000.00 for electrical repairs. [redacted] Energy and a private contractor gave me statements that yes US had hit my line. I have been trying to collect back my damages thru small claims and he will not respond to the officer serving the supoena. His response to this has been "I'd like to buy you a new house, but I can't." He has been nothing but short of ignorant to me. I can forward in a fax all my small claims papers I have.Desired Settlement: If I do not hear from court I will attempt to turn in to homeowners. No way does this guy deserve an A plus rating.

Attached please find 8 pages all the correspondance with the small claims court and their insurance company. I have responded to both. I am very confused as to how this is poceding. I have heard nothing from the court or their insurance company at this time. Attached is a copy of the signed contract for your review. Due to the nature of foundation repair ie. altering the home structure all foundation repair companies are not responsible for damages done to the homes electrical, plumbing etc. I intend to stand behind our contract There is no way possible 17 days could have lapsed from time of repair till an electrical problem suddenly surfaced.

Review: US Foundation did some repairs to my property years ago with a "lifetime warranty". I began getting signs of a foundation issue again and tried to get the problem diagnosed. I hired a structual engineer fearing I had an issue other than the foundation. The first enginner company's report said I have a foundation issue. I asked US Foundation to come out and inspect the property and they used a leveler and said nothing was wrong. I then hired another structual engineer to inspect the property and they found it to be a foundation issue too. Excuse after excuse to not repair the pilings both engineers recommended. Finally US Foundation sent/paid for a sewage company (a good friend of the owner of US Foundation) to look for a broken pipe under my house. He found no broken pipes, only a root (which he said did not concern him) and what he thinks might be a crack (could not confirm), but nothing to support US Foundation's claim I have a broken line saturating the soil under the property. Both engineering companies said they found no evidence around the property to support a drain issue. I then received a certified letter from US Foundation saying that I would need to get repairs made to the sewage lines and my warranty is temporarily void. "He found problems with your plumbing. Per our agreement, this temporarily voids your warranty with US Foundation." He now wants to charge me again to do the repairs which should be covered under my warranty.Desired Settlement: honor the warranty

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: I hired this company in [redacted] to level a slab for $3,000. Subsequently I've brought him back 2 more times to fix the slab. I'm now out $6,200 and my slab is still not leveled and he says he can't help me.Desired Settlement: Refund or repair at no additional cost.

I have been out to the house twice in the last 6 month's. The house has never been lived in since we did the work in [redacted].Due to this fact as well as the last 3 years drought the house has settled in the center. This was verified by another foundation repair company he called out. The home foundation has not been properly maintained. In order for a foundation repair company to stand behind its warranty the homeowner must keep the soil around the foundation slightly moist during drought conditions. For the last 6 month's Mr. [redacted] has tried to blame me for his interior settlement. I have agreed to adjust a few of our piers in the rear of the home .I have not done anything because Mr. [redacted] has tried to sue our company. I am not responsible for his interior cracks caused by interior settlement.

Review: I contracted U.S. Foundation Repairs on [redacted] to perform foundation (slab) leveling at my residence. The service was to be performed on [redacted]. The contract stated that it would be a two (2) day job. The service was delayed until [redacted] due to potential weather issues. Mr. [redacted] and his work crew arrived just before 7:00 AM on Saturday [redacted] and immediately began working. They crew dug and prepared the necessary holes to install the blocks and piers. They proceded to level the back portion of the residence, leaving a hole so that plumbing repairs created by the work could be completed. The crew then proceded to front of the residence to continue the work that had been started on that portion of the residence. Holes had already been dug and prepared for that part of the repairs. These holes included portions of the driveway. After consulting with a contractor concerning possible electrical service issues, the necessary corrections were made to accomodate this potential problem. After this was done, at about 10:45 AM, Mr [redacted] and his crew loaded into their vehicle. Mr. [redacted] said they would be back tomorrow (Sunday) between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. When I inquired about if they were coming back to complete the work Saturday afternoon, I was told they didn't have enough materials to finish the job, and no, thay would not be back to finish the job until Sunday. The company left the front my residence in total dissaray with plywood covering the holes they had dug around the garage, including the driveway.Mr. [redacted] and his crew returned at approximately 10:45 AM Sunday morning to continue the work of leveling the front of the residence. It was completed. When Mr. [redacted] presented me with the bill for the balance, I paid in-full as required. When I tried to engage Mr. [redacted] for an explanation for why the couldn't have finished the job Saturday, he stated rather brusquely that it was a two day job. I didn't know a workday was only 4 hours long.Desired Settlement: Since Mr. [redacted] is in a customer service industry, maybe he should learn how to treat customers with enough respect to listen to their issues, and try to resolve any conflict. He is a very rude individual when it comes to this aspect of business. I was left absolutely speechless by his manner and response. He had six weeks to have the material necessary to do the job. If his company's work-day is only 4 hours long, he should explain this to the customer before the facts.

I am [redacted] owner of U.S. Foundation Repair. I was on the job site the entire time work was done at [redacted] 28 piers were installed and a lifetme transferable warranty was issued. As I understand it the complaint centered around the fact that it took 2 days to complete the job. Mr [redacted] was informed at time of inspection the repair would take 2 days. During the first day at work due to a very poor previous plumbing repair we broke the plumbing in 3 places. because it was not repaired properly I was not liable for any of the repairs. Due to our previous relationship with Mr. [redacted] son in law I agreed to fix part of the repair which ended up costing me $ 800.00. A bad business decision on my part. The plumbers arrived at approx. 3 pm to fix the plumbing which took several hours to repair. I was told the next day they were treated with total rudeness by Mr.[redacted] the entiretime they were there. That made me very upset I did not say anything to mr. [redacted] about this. When our work was complete on the first day I told Mr. [redacted] we were finished and we'd be back tomorrow to finish. He asked me why we were leaving so early. I told him I did not have any more material to go any further. I am limited by law as to how much material I can carry. He was not happy. He then contacted his son in law with the same concen andhe called my wife and was told the same thing I had told him. Keep in mind he was told it was a 2 day job. I finished the job on Sunday afternoon. I was totally shocked that again Mr. [redacted] asked me why it took 2 days to complete. That made me upset to have to tell a grown man 3 times why it took us 2 days to fix the foundation. I could not believe how he treated 2 plumbers who stopped what they were doing on a weekend to help him out. I can provide the plumbers name and phone number ifyou need it. As I left I told mr. [redacted] I know you are not happy I said I was sorry and left. .
