Review: He sells cheap low quality furniture and does not stand behind the sale or the receipt that states a refund available with store receipt. I had my receipt and wanted a refund for faulty merchandise. He is rude and demeaning towards woman. "You know how woman are, they are not smart enough to put together furniture, that is why they need a man" I tried to put the bed together according to the instruction that is a picture and four labeled areas. Rest of it you are left to guess. Calling the store for help was pointless. I got the wrong mattress rails the first time, had to make another trip to get the right ones only to find out the second ones are wrong too. Talking to the owner, he is rude, arrogant and wanted to charge me $20 to do put it together because I am doing it myself and I am woman and don't know how to do it. The conversation was pointless, angry, and rude. Twice I tried to put this bed together per his instructions over the phone. The second set of rails were still to long and I was not going to accept defective merchandise. He stated he would come to my home after work and fix it. I agreed but later decided I wanted a refund. My receipt stated I was entitled to a refund. He wanted to fix the defective bed and have me take the bed. I told him I did not want his defective merchandise. I would not leave without my refund. The police were called because he would not give me a full refund, and with the police there I finally did get a refund less 20% for the defective bed. I should have received a full refund for my aggravation and because the bed and instructions were defective. He threatened to physically throw me out of his store, I informed him that if he touched me, he would be in jail. Businesses like this that financially cheat people and don't stand behind their product should not be in business. I work hard for my money and should not have to loose any money because of the low quality, below poor customer service and problem resolution.Desired Settlement: I did get a refund of $151.90, which is 20% off of $189.87.($37.97) Because he is a crook, he told me my 20% refund would be $150. ($39.87) I told him NO, that was not 20%. I figured it on the calculator to come up $151.90. Granted that is just pennies, however because he has proven that he is not a reliable business person, I feel I am entitled to the additional 20% not refunded and he needs to be ticketed for improper business acts.
